1. It seemed like the bears where sluggish on defense. I just cant believe it took 2.5 qauters to make an adjustment to the run. But it was a very good game...both teams had big chances on the few turnovers to captilize but neither team could. Anyone with stats on the game.
 2. As much as i want nederland to win it would benefit lcm in the long run.
 3. Man this just crazy how this district is going to pan out.
 4.
Are yall serious do you really think all those teams that are ranked ahead of dayton would beat them.  Ask WOS, see what they think.
Im willing to beat that central, livingston, and lcm can give yall a run for yalls money.
 5.

When looking at a receiver I look at alot of things, hands, running great routes, etc. Sonnier runs all the routes, has great hands and for a guy who is not considered fast beats people deep consistantly. Roberts is a guy with college stuff because he is big and fast, but runs mostly deep routes. Saw the Nelson kid once runs alot of quick routes but has really good hands. Just my opinion Sonnier right now is the most polished WR in all phases I have seen this year and last.
Not sure when you saw Nelson, but he has more deep ball catches than anyone I have seen at PNG in a while. Jalali catches a bunch of screens, Nelson goes over the middle and down the sidelines. All I have ever seen Sonnier do is catch the WR screen. Granted that was last season. He is good at what he does no doubt, but I don't think either he or Nelson are the best WR in the area.
Sonnier hasnt caught many screens this year. most of his catches have been over the middle or down the sidelines.
Are you serious? Wow. If only you knew who i was then you wouldn't be saying that. I have been born and raised in Vidor, TX. I wasn't in football but i was an avid fan. Proud member of the Vidor Pirate Mighty Marching Band. And nice try on what?
Hmm where else have you been born? ;) ;D
 7. Tevin Jones of lcm. Doesnt get alot of carriers due to the passing attack of lcm but when he gets the ball he runs hard and fast.
 8. Along with sonnier i have to throw in harmon to. He has made some of the best catches i have seen in a long time.
 9. 1. Central-i dont see them losing another game in district. Heard is to fast and the d-line is good. 2. Lcm-i also dont see them losing another game. Livinston will be the toughest game for lcm along with png. 3. Livingston-dont know much about them but the went into ot with the jags. 4. Really a toss up at this point with vidor, nederland, or png.
 10.
i am not saying this just cause i am a PN-G fan, but if PN-G has straightened out their defense they will possibly be unbeatable for the rest of the district season....mark my words ;)
That seems to be a big IF for png at this point.
 11.
Vidor 45 LCM 38       :)
Doubt vidor will score 45 on lcm.
 12. I wouldnt put it passed ozen to win this game. They have plenty of talent to win.
 13. The held the passing game for central pretty low but that running game is hard to stop. I dont see nederland stopping heard. And the defensive line for central is gonna pressure forney all night long. Ill take central by 3 touchdowns or more.
 14.
Will be a good game, but the Pirates will come away with the "W".  Go Pirates!
I think all ndn's will be pulling for vidor in this one. lol
 15. Im going with the bears by 3 td's. We want face an offense like central until livingston and im sure are d can stop vidor.
 16.

Lol did anyone else see the 4 yard and 9 yard penaltys? lol
Missed the 9 yarder.  I think the 4 yard one was more like 2.5 if that was the one you're talking about (early in the game).  Ball was on about the 8.5, half the distance should have been just past 4 (4.25) but looked like it was placed on about the 6. Oh well.
Yea lol they moved it back like a yard...i guess thats half the distance to the goal.
 17. Lol did anyone else see the 4 yard and 9 yard penaltys? lol
 18. Centrals heard and #63 on defense.
 19. Sonnier is good but what makes him better this year is that hes not the only target. Harmon #88 who i think is a junoir has made some of the best catches this year i have ever seen. Preston #12 has really turned it around this year. I wish 21 was healthy so he could play. I was hoping to see if anyone on that d could catch him.  ;D
 20.
These Jags are impressing me ohh so much these days... Heard was a man tonight  with 200+ rushing yards.  We lined up in singlback and had our way up front.  Much props to our 'big nasties' (O-Linemen) for blocking for Heard.  Our 'Young Gun' QB has matured andhave gotten so good befor my eyes, it was a thing of beauty how he hits our receivers in stride.  Glad we get him for a couple more years.  Playcalling was excellent.  Fan support was great.  Our Defense played great in the first half.  Second half, LC-M made great adjustments to find the holes in our Zone defense. That Gonzalez kid is awesome.  Performed like the 3 year starter that he is.  Got rattled on a hit from earlier and didn't let that slow him down.  He just kept finding #9.  (i was telling some of our fans that I think #9 catch football in his sleep).  Point blank, this is the best receiver in our district.  Refs?  As one fan put it, it was horrible, on both sides.  I'm glad that both teams kept playing as this turned out to be a great game as advertised.  Good luck to these Bears.  You will represent this district great in these playoffs.   Game balls... Central - D. Heard Honorable mention - R. Mitchell LC-M - Z. Sonnier (sp) Honorable mention - H. Gonzalez Special shout out to the Jaguar defense.  You were on the field for most of the night due to our offense scoring quick.  You held your own in the first half and even withtood the second half surge by the Bear offense and stepped up late in the game...  When it counted.
The central d-line is what won yall the game. Not saying that yalls offense couldnt score but yall d-line get gonzo running all night...which he is good under pressure but its tough to play when there coming ever single play. Olgetree is good the only thing i saw that kept him back was route running. his cuts are slow and easy to read but he has great size and good hands.

We can sit here and say that prior to the season starting, everyone was saying that the road for district goes through PN-G.  Well if thats the case, i like that road.  Everyone predicted that Livingston would hand us our first district loss and that Livingston would go on to take the crown, well that didn't happen last night.  You beat Lumberton, who had a good 3 year run.  You beat Ozen, what I call our Basketball school.  Holla at me when you beat Central, Nederland, PN-G, Livingston and even Vidor on a consitant basis.  Holla at me when you make it past the 2nd round or even past the 1st round of the playoffs.  Until then, you are just the other school in Orange County.  But what would that prove. Us at Central know how it feels to always be picked against, be the underdog, non-favorite.  No score prediction needed, we will prove it on the field.  To all my Central fans, be there early and be loud cause apparently we still have something to prove. I forwarned all of you Bear fans...
Noone every doubted centrals talent. I have never heard of central always being the underdog or non-favorite. The difference in the game was heard. We just couldnt bring him down.
 22. Jags deff. come out swinging. Bears looked slow in the first half but really stepped it up during the second half. We just couldnt keep heard from running the ball.
 23. That d-line of central is good. They never stop the pursuit on the qb. Heard is a good running back great at finding the holes and exploding through them. Just wondering where the officating crew was from. I would suggest that noone from around here would use that crew. They were horrible for both teams. Im not making an excuse for the bears because of the officating was bad We just couldnt stop the run...numerous times they would hit heard behind or at the line of scrimmage and couldnt take him down Lol i didnt know two guys could go into motion at the same time. lol Even my mom knew that.
 24. Lcm declaws the jags tonight!
