HF beat them all 3 times they played last year and from what I've heard the ole freshman from last year no longer goes to buna (maybe it was just a rumor i could be wrong) and they also lost their number 2 pitcher. HF will have every pitcher from last year returning and an even stronger infield. The top 3 teams for 21-3A will be BC Silsbee and HF as for the order of who gets first second and third that is a toss up.

[/quote] The freshman class no doubt has talent, but they have more involved parents than talent. That will be the downfall to that grade is the people in the stands trying to coach.

The freshman was good on the freshman team and maybe even the jv team but on varsity he is gonna make freshman mistakes. When the line doesn't hold up he can't try and out run everyone like he did in middle school and freshman team because he was the better athlete then. It's a completely different game on varsity. The freshman will be good he just needs time and experience.
