I have seen Yates play 3 times this year and the only way to really contain or beat them is to slow it down. They just feed off the crowd and tempo of the game. They run no set plays, just score as fast as possible! Just watch out for when they start up that "JY" chant during a timeout. Then they start playing harder & harder!  ;) :D

I know this group of kids and they don't seem to be playing with the fire and teamwork like n the past. Don't get me wrong Ozen and Central are talented but I expected Nederland to at least battle at home and not go into the half down by double digits both times. That's just not what they have shown n the past.

I just wanna know what some of y'all think are the problems why Nederland isn't doing as good as everybody thought?!

I know Nederland lost to Ozen but I went watched the Crosby and Humble game. From what I saw Central, Ozen, & Nederland are better than those 2 teams. If that's the best 19-4A has to offer then that district isn't as good people think. Central, Ozen, & Nederland should be over those teams.

Congrats to Coach E!!! His hardwork and desication to Nederland Basketball at all ages has made Basketball relative in Nederland!!! Just hope Nederland can hold on to such a great coach.  ;)

If only HJ ever played in this tournament it would have all of the best area teams in it.....  :D
