I really hope its a 3 game series. That always makes it more interesting to me. These teams will both be ready to play more than ever so a 3 game series once again could be some of the best baseball the state sees all year.

Tribe in 3. The pitching is too great with PNG. Two sophomores did an awesome job on Friday, especially my boy Chris Sweetenham.

Good thing is the 3B (Joe Robertson) and the SS (Matt Hicks) are both sophomores. the catcher (Casey Jackson) is a senior though and will be missed

I think Hajdik would be going. I think I remember him pitching last season and have not seen him yet in this series. Expect a good one though Saturday from the Jays

Great group of not just players but young men right there. I enjoyed covering them all. Good season LCM and be proud of what you accomplished.

Final was 8-1. Clark had 1 hit, 12 Ks, not a single walk, one HBP and 83 pitches. The Cards had 12 hits. The big ones were the homer by Hicks, a triple by guess who (Clark) and a double by Dillon. The Cards should see better pitching Saturday afternoon so the bats need to stay hot.

Bay City is a good team. They knocked the Bears out last year even though LCM was very young, Bay City was impressive.

Just two mistakes were the difference... Great game by Needville, their pitcher was very effective in getting ground outs. Hicks did a great job on the mound. I suspect we are going to a third game.
