Oh no, not a column in the Orange Leader! What does that mean anyway? Oh, and by the way, obviously there are a few people that can and did argue about the best player in district 21-3A. They're called the 8 coaches that had the opportunity to coach, coach against, nominate and vote on the MVP of this wonderfully tough district. I think these guys know a little more about who is and who is not the MVP. The coaches have spoken. Congratulations to each and every player who received an all-district award. You deserve all the recoginition that may come your way. Im paid to have an opinion and have seen enough 3A baseball this season to have a strong one.

Jackson batted .526 in district, 16 walks, 5 homers, 18 RBI, five doubles and only five strike outs... Please don't take this as a knock on the MVP himself, he is a great player though. Just not where I would have gone with the pick.

If I had to pick Casey Jackson would be MVP because a 13-1 record in 21-3A is truly an accomplishment and if not him, Malcolm Bronson is the true best player in the district and nobody in their right mind can disagree with that! It does put a negative light on if he takes basketball serious. Yes it may not affect his play but he runs the risk of going to jail for buying or having the dope on him. When and if that happens, he will not play for some time and that will hurt his team.

My mistake about it going near his head. I was sitting on the first baseline and had a nice big pole in front of me and I think I was catching up on his pitch total at the moment. I looked up and could tell something happened unique and someone behind me said "yeah the ball almost took his head off."

Kimbo is a bad man but right now is not ready for UFC. He talked a little noise on Lidell and I think if they were to fight anytime soon, if Lidell wasnt hurt, Chuck would get the better of him.
