The facts I was talking about were of him being sick. I find it the most disrespectful thing in the world to kick a man while he is sick. Agree with his stories or not, there is not another reporter in Mid-County who does more for those two schools whether you like him or not.

BC freshmen won but the JV lost

Tom does not have cancer. I know Tom very well and he is still working hard at the News. He has been sick but does not have cancer from all that I know. Please do not bash someone when the facts are not all out there. Yes he does little stories inside a game story but writing is all about telling stories. Tom has done a lot with me over my career and I know for a fact the area is lucky to have him around.

I had to, I was having trouble keeping up!

I have covered both OF and BC several times this year and I can say neither team quits at any point in the game and both give just as much effort, if not more, than teams that are 6-0 or 5-1. Both cities can be proud of these two teams because they go out every Friday night and TRY to make it their night to win a game. They are not the first teams to have a struggling season and will certainly will not be the last. This Friday will be a great game and I am very exciting to go watch it no matter what the records are because I know the teams, fans and coaches, will make it exciting.
