9 times Manning one and done in playoffs. No other qb has more than 4. That is not good and many of those he had bye week before with home field.

Heres my take and on fb i was called an idiot and that i only said this to look "kewl." Ironic huh? I enjoyed most everything he did. Its terrible a man who brought so much laughter to millions over 40 years was this depresed. Depression is serious and it pains me to think people see absolutely no other way out. My problem is with people stating "he is free", "hes happy or in better place now." There arent suicide victims. There are cancer victims and homicide victims. We cant glorify suicide like this and not expect the next person to not think its ok. Its the worst thing you can do to your family and friends. It leaves a shadow over your entire existence. While i hate to lose people to suicide i also cannot stand how everyone acts now likes suicide is just another way to end life that is almost becoming normal. Its not and we have to remind everyone its not the answer instead of implying after the deed is done while sad, everything ends up better.

It is not a rumor. Montana reported it in a story I did on him as athlete of the year at The Leader. He will walk on and after talking to him, the chip on his shoulder is huge. A motivated Montana Q is pretty darn scary.

It could be worse. UT could be OU. I still say a silent prayer every day thanking the good man above I am not a stupid Sooner fan. Problems go away but being a Sooner for life and that just sucks.

There is no way to make the district a three game series between the teams. Far too many games during the week for the players who are also students. I have never really had a problem with whatever way it is. If you get put into a one game series and the other team has a dominant pitcher but you have the better team, although it might sting, your job is to go out and beat the dominant pitcher. If you can't you go home.

Remember in baseball the district race is not really a "one game race." Last time I checked the teams play each other twice. There have been plenty of cases where a lower grade team does upset one of the playoff teams yet in the end the playoff team does just that - reach the playoffs. Pardon me for using an example but it is hard to imagine anyone would pick HF this year to beat BC in a three game series but even if HF doesn't have an amazing ace pitcher, they could always just have a better night and win one game. A series gives opportunities for weaknesses and strengths to come forward out of the two teams. Another example is the NBA playoffs this year. The Miami Heat will not go undefeated through the playoffs (well they just might actually LOL) but it won't be a surprise if someone steals a game during a series. Yet it is going to be a challenge for anyone to beat the Heat four times in seven games. I like the series setup because I want to at least feel by the end of it the two teams both have the chance to show off the team and not the simple fact they have a guy who throws 97 and found a way to score two runs on a team that was actually better than them. Now do I like having to cover a three game series for a newspaper? Usually three straight days and sometimes three different locations, that is a complete different question and answer.

Are we really wasting time on this? I haven't posted in months (hey everyone, how yall doing????) and come online and have to read about this team?' How many games will HJ win? Ok lets break it down like this........or lets move on to the fact it won't be enough to get into the playoffs. I loved the line "if the hawks win the preseason then it could bleed over to.." Bleed over to what? West Orange only winning by 40? Silsbee winning by the same margin as well? Come on guys, head to the basketball forum, you do so much better there.
