I agree mods should not be able to change drastically. If it remains close and is obvious who it is, fine but confusing posters is not good.

The ONLY problem I see adding him back is because as of right now he is still denying all this. So what will stop it from happening again? We all owe Kerry for his work on this site. The bottom line is this; if I do something at my job which leads to my termination they will thank me, applaud my efforts and all I have done for the paper and website and then move forward. He really can't expect us to sit around and wait for the day we think he has matured. I know I wouldn't expect the Leader to do that. If and when he returns as a mod, he will have to be watched closely for not just a few weeks but for quite a while. Bad habits can be hard to break.

OK I will take it upon myself to link the Leader's stories on the site. I cannot do it for any other local media due to my position at the paper. That is one down and I know some of you will step up for the rest. I will try to do espn stories and others I see on the national level but locally all I can do is the Leaders. It is an ethics thing and out of respect of my job.

If there is a vote, my vote is all mod and admin status taken. If not, I apologize but I cannot be associated with this type of activity with position I am in in media. Plus in my opinion this site does not want this type of reputation, it is like the examiner, and once perception is made the perception becomes reality. I am not making this decision lightly on what I think needs to be done. It is the right decision though. To impersonate a local coach is huge no-no. If mike had done this I'd have same feeling. If I did this at work, I'd be fire within the hour and would expect it.

AS I said on phone, this is worst violation ive seen  on board. All admin and mod titles stripped and feel lucjy full ban didn't happen. It would happen to anyone else. I caught this last night and will step down if action lije I said above is not taken. This is worst action.

It is simple in my eyes: The player is expected to give his coach his best, day in day out with respect, hard work and determination. He is expected to support his teammates and never take a play off. When his teammate is down, lift him up. Show the umps and opposing teams respect yet also be focused on your team first. The coach is expected to put the players in position to win each game and to treat the kids with respect. A coach can ride a kid all day long without doing it the wrong ways. Set proper schedule of practices and always have the kids health in mind. You can't worry about parents. Play the best 9 each day to win and treat each kid the same, no matter the HR total or batting avg. Teach the kids a life lesson each day through this sport.

OK this post will tick alot of you off but I dont care. First, what does it matter? Even if you know the names it dont control who they wil hire. So what if tony dungy applied? What does that line have any revelance? People have no patience on something they have not a single bit of control over. And what good does it do for one media outlet to get the list? What also does not need to happen is Toby and CT work against together. Guys this school, team and community need you both. No matter who gets what, stay with each other because it is the right thing to do. If the Mustangs family is to be the same 20 years down the road, CT and Toby must be the ones to carry the torch. One may succeed just fine for a bit but for the long term future, I believe both CT and Toby along with Ed D and few others to be there for each other.

The difference between teams in 20-4A and 21-3A has always been huge. 4A to 3A baseball leap IMO is a big one in 95% of the cases. The top teams in 204A will always beat the top teams in 213A. PNG has played some tough tough teams and it should not shock anyone if they came back and finished as high as second or even still have a chance for a district title.

All of us can only dream of having a career in our fields that measured up to what hooks had. Congrats. It was a pleasure getting to spend time with a legend. I can say this, Toby is unlike many others in the fact kids relate to him and they trust him. He knows exactly what to say and when. If chosen, WO-s found their next coach for life.
