should be an entertaining game. Evadale will put on the floor 2 So. 2 Fr. and Jr. who play a lot of minutes.  Evadale never kids themselves. They respect every team and especially one with a program like orangefield. They know they will have their hands full with or without two starters. Hope the injuries are not serious and they can get back on the court as soon as possible.

lady rebels have a very tough stretch coming up. They will go to Starks Tues. and then play two home games with Colmesneil and the always tough Orangefield bobcats, one of the best in the area. Then will head back across the border for the Starks Tournament which is always a meat grinder. They should be ready for district after this stretch. They have done well considering only one returning starter. The younger players have stepped up and show a lot of skills but still have things to work on. Gotta believe East Chambers belongs in that top 25 in 2A somewhere.

I dont know of any hard feelings either.The girls are returning to the Starks La. Ty this year for different styles of play. Some of those La. teams have played 20 games already and are very tough to play, and this year the Evadale Ty. just changed some teams for variety. They added 3A Hamshire-Fannett 2A Newton and 1A Colmesneil Dropped 3A WOS 2A Deweyville and Evadale JV I cant remember who didnt show last year but I think it was because of football playoffs. Thats why the JV team played. Dont sell yourself short you are a very knowledgeable basketball fan and you still have two years for her to play her old teammates. ;)

It was discussed and decided last year. Dont worry the Evadale coaches teach the kids, to play hard, give it your all, play as a team, and to display good sportsmanship at all times. They are also taught to respect every opponent. If you have watched them over the years you would know that to be true.
