Jake94 #8 Ogrydziak the kicker was injured but what you don't point out is the linebacker Wood stepping up and kicking great along with playing a defensive position with lots of tackles and a sack. Couron was missed, we hope he recovers soon and will be ready for next weeks game. Overall the team did a great job defense and offense.

That was a great game last night Bulldogs. Once again, the bulldog defense played a heck of a game. The linebacker Wood had a lot of tackles and a sack at a big time in the game and he came in and kicked for Ogydziak and did a great job. Offensive is looking better and better each week, what a catch by Shaw. The bulldogs really pulled off a big win!

They said Cole was hurt.

Way to go Bulldogs....what an awesome win! Those linebackers Wood, Stampley, and Brown did an excellent job. Wood did great coming in as the backup kicker. Offense played good, they are coming along and getting better each game. Thanks bulldogs for a great game and winning the game!

Everybody keeps talking about the offense and how great they did... but what about that amazing defense Nederland has. According to the newspaper and I quote "I wish we would have played good enough defense where we didn't have that situation at the end".....WOW! Well, maybe you ought to take a look at the offense....you would not have been put in that situation if they would have done what they were suppose to do. The defense is not getting the credit they deserve.  The total yards in the game is 178 yards for Vidor, they have been averaging almost double that against teams, so that tells you right there that was the difference in the ballgame. The TV announcers even choose 2 offense players as players of the game over the defense. I guess the old saying is true.....offense gets all the glory and defense wins championships!  So to the Nederland Defense.....with battling the adversity with losing two starters and stepping up and playing so well I will praise you if no one else will! WAY TO GO DEFENSE!
