Woodville had Lockhart out, both starting offensive guards hurt, and they were down to the third string cornerback due to ineligibility. Both teams had key players out. Woodville has really taken on the challenge of Lockhart being injured and they have done a great job.

Warren's problem is that they have a terrible offensive and defensive line. And their front seven on defense gets blown off the ball way to much to stop the run. They have some pretty good skill players to make things happen but the line will never give them a chance

Pretty exciting little fight early on. Woodville's runningbacks and line absolutely destroyed the Warren D. It looked like Woodville ran the same three or four plays the whole second half. Woodville Defense was very good

Buna and Anahuac are good teams too. Their are five legit playoff contenders in this district

That's probably the most true thing I've heard in this discussion. 24 is very competitive and it's very exciting to see how it'll all finish up

I've seen Warren, kountze, hardin and Buna play. Warren has smart players and they are a solid hitting team. They would play a good game with hemphill again. Kountze is pretty middle of the road. Hardin could hit the ball when I saw them, and buna has struck me to be kind of inconsistent. In district 22, central heights obviously beats anyone. Hemphill can hit the ball very well, not too good in the field. Corrigan is on fire right now and hooks is an exceptional pitcher. Woodville just needs to show up and play. Slow starts have hurt them. They have good ballplayers but just haven't quite put a whole game together. Woden was hurt bad with the injury to their best player because that was the majority of the talent. Newton has two or three guys that can hit but they don't really care. San Augustine......no comment.

Are you referring to when woodville beat hemphill pretty handily at the regional semifinal? If woodville and corrigan win out wouldn't that make a three way tie?

I don't see kountze losing to Woden lol. Kountze has at least some kind of potential on their team.

I think I might take Warren on this one. Solid games going for them and if they are on top of their game I pick them to win 5-3

My guess is that Price was off tonight. He threw hard and had a good curve but he wasn't throwing strikes and he left the fastball way up. The catcher for kountze had a rough night. Warren played solid ball tonight. Pitcher threw strikes, defense made plays, and they hit the ball. Sounds like an ideal game of baseball.

I'm picking kountze after the big win last night. They have some good momentum coming into this game. This game will come down to defense imo. Whoever makes the routine plays and doesn't get rattled should come out on top. I give kountze pitching the edge though.
