You are 100% spot on. Now, there is nothing wrong with high fiving or low fiving kids coming off the field, having enthusiasm and throwing the occasional forward pass..... As long as you do all the things you mentioned. Holding kids and coaches accountable and working hard are definitely prerequisites to success. However, it is allowed to have fun while you are doing it.

I have all the respect in the world for the coach you are referring to. And, the "Slot T" is what it is. I'm not going to argue the positives and the negatives of the Slot. Edit: That argument would go on forever, and I'm not changing the mind of a Slot lover.......

Were you in Livingston at that time? If you were, then you know the success was more about the PLAYERS and the MENTALITY than it was about the offensive system. But, you keep doing you.

Well aware of the history of Livingston. Livingston had a D1 athlete at QB/S and a future NFL running back as well as a couple other small school college players on those teams. And, the best year that never was in Livingston was a year they were VERY multiple, incorporating a number of SPREAD concepts. That team was geared up for a DEEP run until the RB got injured and the TEAM didn't adjust well.

I really hate when people say this. Athletes in Livingston are already NOT playing because they never throw the damn ball. Need someone that can relate to the kids, bring some enthusiasm, knows the community and has an understanding of what the LIV is all about. Also, they need someone with a MODERN offense and philosophy.
