He is just trolling and trying to make light of a situation he knows nothing about. Most people who speak about the situation in Huntington actually have ZERO insight. They just like to spout off garbage they have heard and unfounded rumors that actually have no foundation in reality.

This sucks for Vidor, because this game could very well go a long way in determining a playoff berth. I really thought before Harvey that Vidor would beat Central in Vidor, but with this being Vidor's first game of the year and Central having one under their belt, I think the Jaguars pull this win out. But, I will say this, the home field advantage may eliminate any advantage Central has. This one will definitely be a real slobber knocker!!

You are 100% dead on correct!!! And Lord willing the staff that is in place is the one that wants to do that.
-
I have no idea about the commitment of previous staffs, and I have no idea about Admin or Community placing blame, all I DO know is that it will take a special coach (staff) to stay the course and build something successful there and they will have to have the support of the Administration and the Community to get it done.
-
It takes longer than a year or two and it takes true commitment. Give this staff an opportunity, see if they are as committed as they say they are.

As many as the Purple People Eaters want to score.

L-Train rolls in this one and wins against Lee for sure. IMO, they will beat Ozen and Vidor too. Game against Central will determine last playoff spot.

I know IT is undefeated, but why would somebody making that much money put his future in jeopardy for any reason. -
Dayton does NOT have a kicker??? When was the last time Dayton didn't have a kicker?

Could, would Texan Live do it if there was a financial benefit to them? -
Way too much Purple in one location at one time for me. But, the Raging Horses continue to move in the right direction and Humble keeps being Humble.

Facilities are definitely not the Ritz. Will be surprised if Livingston scores. Nederland by as many as they want.
-
I don't think so, it is and will continue to be good job. The applicant pool will still be deep.
-
The talent and the work ethic are there in Dayton, so they will return to the top. Just not sure how long it is going to take.

Bulldogs Tied Down and Stung Repeatedly by Hornets

Ouch, that is painful!!
-
Very well said and good luck to both teams.
-
It should be an exciting game, no doubt about that. Both teams are well coached, and as much grief as people give Crosby about Code Red, we all know Riordan is a heck of a coach and he has gotten complete and total buy in from those kids.
-
And boy does it taste good. It's Blue Raspberry too, none of the Code Red Cherry served a few miles down the road.
-
I wouldn't blame you one little bit. TW has hired a great staff who know's how to coach. BH will always be prepared and the game plan on both sides of the ball will be well though out, I can guarantee that.
-
Still way to early to tell and the answers probably won't come until the playoffs.
-
No pun intended I'm sure. But, you are dead on right. There will be a serious influx of talent in the coming years, especially parents with junior High age kids who want their kids to grow up in a structured, successful program.
-
I really don't see anyway that this game is close. I'm at outsider who just loves high School Football, but based on the recent results, the talent in the programs and overall size advantage that PNG has, I just don't see it. No with that being said, Lumberton is always going to play you hard, so if the Indians go in here overconfident, then I can see it being close for a half too. I think PNG is on a mission this year, I think a District Championship and a playoff run are on the horizon.

Dayton better win, for many, many reason.
