I think the job that Mann held is actually the same position you are describing. I think he worked with all students to get scholarships and gain admittance into college. He just also happened to be a coach also.

Yes, but can't Area times be used for Wild Card spots if the are FAT?

Why would anybody host an Area meet and not have FAT times? Does not make sense, especially since there are Wild Card spots in the state meet up for grabs.

NRG failed miserably. They did not take care of the teams, coaches, media or written press. The crowds were bad and yes, the money was down. The UIL is a business, and making money should be important. But regardless of how much money was lost, the fact is NRG hates hosting High School games and does a horrible job in game presentation should be the over riding factor. AT&T loves High School football and love him or hate him, Jerry Jones takes care of the teams, coaches, and media. And it is just a much more pleasurable experience, keep the games in DFW, I will be happy to make the drive.

Congratulations on a fine accomplishment. Not an easy task to earn a D1 scholarship in football and definitely not an easy task to gain acceptance into Rice University. Both accomplishments are worthy of high praise.

I will take full blame for starting this, but as fans we want to know when something significant happens. What is wrong with that? What many consider a big reason for the success of a local high school football team leaves under unusual circumstances, who doesn't want to know the real reason? The truth? IMO, this should be a news story, as a reporter this is significant and should be researched. Not trying to embarrass anybody or any program. just trying to get factual information.

However, I have heard that a self professed great motivator and offensive innovator has left the Code Red family.

I don't KNOW anything.

Well said and very true. They are a long term (10 year) investment and more than pay for themselves. Do we have pictures of the progress?

I'm pretty sure he will bring in his own guy as the OC, not sure what that means since he is going to call the plays on Friday nights.

Michael Allen is a heck of a coach. He knows his stuff, will always be prepared, is great in film study and opponent breakdown, he will have the defense playing aggressive, smart and with reckless abandon. They will be fast to the ball, physical and force numerous turnovers. He is also an amazing motivator and relates very well to the kids. He is a great addition to the staff. Now, we will see who comes on the offensive side to hopefully balance out the run heavy head coach.
