1. Maybe they can talk the Astros into paying $10 million each on these guys so they can keep them. I'm sure Eddie could work that out for his boyz in Philly.
2. Heard the Crane guy is ok with the move now as long as there is compensation from MLB. I know I don't want them to switch AL is much tougher League. Not sure what kind of compensation Crane is looking for??? Maybe #1 draft pick for next 10 years?
3.
Strike Em out throw Em out!!!  Best DP in baseball!!
Yep. I like that one myself.
4. Zepchinsky is flat nasty! Bases Loaded!
5. Dotel about screwed up on those 4 intentional pitches to Cruz.  :D
6. Another good one. Beltre tied it earlier on a jack from his knee on a curveball.
7. 100 loses again. I guess that does equal #1 draft picks. Turned out good for the Rays after all those years. Just hope we favor them instead of the Pirates although even they showed some improvement in 2011.
8. Great job Derek Holland! Way to go Rangers!
9.

That's crazy how an Umps blown call can cost a team 4 runs. 5-0 Cards mid 4
Don't know how he missed it...had the best look in the house >:(
They should make just about everything reviewable at this point in the season. Just need an ump in the booth to review all calls and buzz them down on the field if something needs to be overturned. Just need to get the calls right.
10. Not exactly their days off if you ask me. Should not be allowed to have alcohol in the work place. I know clubs used to provide it for them but many have stopped this practice.after the game they are on their own just like any other profession. Just think they should pctice a little more professionalism.
11. Sox were stupid to let this guy go. Redsox had best record in baseball. A good portion of the year despite what an 0-10 start? They just ran into a rough stretch where they weren't exactly healthy and the guys that were didn't pitch well. Its baseball, sometimes crap happens.
12. Id rather see them give it to the team with the lower payroll. Go Rangers and Berkman!
13. Enjoying the latest run they've been on. They are a lot of fun to watch. Always pulled for them because they were a Texas team but didn't really become a fan until Nolan played for them. Enjoyed the slugfests they used to have in the mid 90s with their big bats. Seems like Nolan has instilled some toughness to this ballclub and gotten them to play the game as it should be. Not something you see much anymore with the younger generations being so spoiled and over sensitive. Go getem Rangers.
14. I am pulling for the Cardinals. Usually like watching La Rusa's teams. Like to watch Pujols swing it and think he is a fun guy to root for. Plus the fact that Berkman is with them now gives me another reason to pull for them. That way if the Rangers don't win it at least Berkman will get a ring. I also like those Cardinals uniforms.  ???
15. Your thoughts? I know this Texas boy is pulling for Nolan and his Rangers.  8)

16. Tigers win series! God I love hating the Yankees! Tiger vs Rangers ALCS
17. Heard on Espn that he told the other management that he thought they needed a new voice in the clubhouse. So I guess it was a mutual parting. He did a great job there, and heck the won 90 despite falling apart in Septemeber. They just ran into a little bad luck and some injuries. I don't see too much wrong in Boston, tinker with a few things and the train will be fine. Do wish Francona the best, he seems like a very fine and and great manager.
18. Cj was up in the zone with his stuff way to much. The rookie Matt Moore looked great in only his 2nd career start. Hope the Rangers can do it. But having to face Shields twice along with David Price will be tough.
19. This kid is a beast. One of the better high school hitters I have seen.
20. What time does this one start?
21.
Bonds, mcgwire, sosa,Palmeiro should all get in before those guys you just named!!!! its a shame that they won't get in when major league baseball let all of this happen!!!! they didn't have a steroid policy untill 2002!!! when baseball was going down hill after the strike you have sosa and big mac saving the game when the MLB knew what was going on but all they cared about was getting the game back and now they won't let these guys in the HOF. Love them or hate them almost everyone in the world was watching sosa and big mac chase!!! What hurts the HOF is you have so called media guys doing the voting and most of them have no clue about the game of baseball and never played the game. Pete Rose should be in the HOF before those guys you mention also!!! Also you have the idiot ring leader Bud Selig!!!
In some ways I agree with many of the things you said. I have always thought that the members of the HOF and the players that played with the guys up for induction should be the ones voting rather than the media. As far as the steroid era I kind of agree that those guys should be put in as well. and those found to be guilty of PED's should have that noted on their individual plaques. I also think that they should do Pete and shoeless Joe the same way.
22.
Randy Johnson another soon to be HOF. Ken Griffey Jr. Another one. Mike Piazza. Gets in I think. Not first ballot. Ivan Rodriguez. Gets in for sure. Vlad Guerrero gets in eventually imo. He is real close to done. Bernie Williams is just out I think. Andy Pettite gets in after a few years. Just adding some guys that I thought of.
I think You are pretty much right on the money with these as well. Pudge might have some trouble because I think he was linked to steroids for his years in Texas.
23. Ok here are a few more that will be voted on here in the next few years. BARRY LARKIN - Shortstop - Cincinnati Reds 1st ballot in my opinion. Best as his position in the NL for nearly a decade. I think he will have the votes to get in next year. BIGGIO AND BAGWELL Biggio for me is first ballot. 3000 hits puts him in along with being an All-Star at 3 different positions and the several seasons he put together with all the 2B's and Stolen bases. Ultimate hustler and team guy. Bagwell is sitting on the fence for me. I think he will eventually get in. I put him in but not on first ballot. What I'd like to see done is Bagwell wait until Biggio is on the ballot and the voters to put them in together. That way I can make that 2nd trip to Cooperstown on Hall of Fame weekend to see that induction. Just think what these guys numbers could have been like had they not played half their career in the dome. FRANK THOMAS Is also a hall of famer in my book. I think his and Baggy's numbers are very comparable. DEREK JETER Yes. 1st ballot. No doubt. MARIANO RIVERA 1st ballot HOF ICHIRO 1ST BALLOT. LOOK AT HIS NUMBERS IN MLB ALONE. THEN ADD IN WHAT HE DID IN JAPAN. AMAZING! TREVOR HOFFMAN 1st ballot. Along with Rivera one of the top closers in the game for a very long time.
24. Ok. We have 2 guys in Chipper Jones and Jim Thome who are in the end of their careers. If had a HOF vote what are you thoughts on these 2 guys? If you can think of any other guys we can discuss throw them out there as well. For the most part I would say to go with one of these 4 choices. 1. 1st Ballot Hall of Famer 2. Hall of Fame but not 1st ballot 3. Just shy of Hall of Fame in my book 4. Not even close Maybe admin Ruth can help us with career numbers for these guys. Me personally I put both of these guys in on the 1st ballot. Thome just reached 600 homers and has a carrer obp of .402. He has not been the top player at his position, but I think he is one of those guys that has been consistently good for a long time, he also played on some very good Cleveland teams back in the 90s and had productive years in Philly and with the ChiSox. Chipper was the best 3rd baseman in the game for around 10 years. Key to many of the Braves playoff runs offensively at least. Great switch hit pop from both sides of the plate. Also not afraid to grit it out through some injuries.
