Is it too late to still get in at this point. Had a dad ask me if I knew of any places to play fallball and told him I knew BC was doing one. I wish Pence the best in Philly. Happy that he gets to play for a winner for at least the next 2.5 years. Got to be tough going to the yard every day knowing your chances of winning are great. Hate to see him go but the Astros are at least 4 years from competing. You have to try to load up on young talent and pray that some of it develops into something worthwhile. Wish there was someway to dump Carlos Lee and let all these kids play and compete and get better.I was hoping they would land the Brown kid and some pitching in return but oh well. Seems the Astros have become quite the pipeline and farm team for the Phillies. Somebody metion Hunsicker coming back. I would love to see that. He built the mid 2000s Asros that competed for the NL pennants through free agency and the farm. And also got the Rays to be a respectable and competitive club once he arrived there.

Saw this in a mustang level allstar game and I've seen it at that level several other time. Don't really see it at the higher levels. Runners on 1st. Pitcher toes rubber and runner does an early steal and reaches before pitcher breaks to go to the plate. Batter makes contact and fouls ball off. Does runner have to go back? Same scenario and ball is popped up. Does runner have to go back and tag up at the previous base? Have seen this several times at this level and always wondered what the correct call is?

Orange2 lost toS.Post Oak 19-1.

Crosby defeated Orange 10-4. Orange left 10 runners on base. Orange will next face loser of the S. Post Oak/Vidor Game at 10am on Sunday.

Orange's 2nd team defeated Conroe 15-3 Orange's 1st team was defeated By South Post Oak 16-1. Heard this group has 6 pitchers throwing 70 and one kid that sits right around 80.

Orange and Crosby have been pushed back to 4:30 start time so I am assuming they pushed everything back 4 hours to give field a couple hours to dry out.

Vidor1 wins championship with another 1 run win over Orange1 (4-3). Sounds like the 2 teams were very evenly matched.

Orange1 defeated Vidor1 (8-7) to force a final Championship Game Thurs 7pm

Top 2 teams in this tourney advance to Regional Tourney in Beuatiful Groves, Texas. They will be met by host Groves and 2 teams from Houston area.

Really not expecting much of a battle from the Stros this year.

Will get a spot start for the Florida Marlins on Wednesday against the Angels.

Very impressed with the kid from Florida the way he attacked the zone. When I heard the stat of the on complete game he threw this year. 76 pitches, and didn't go to 3 balls on a single batter in that game. Can't say I've ever heard of that. The Horns have played much better with their backs against the wall lately. Hopefully they can win out. Hope the Ags win tonite.
