  1. Let's not forget just how young this team is...they have improved tremendously since game 1. Hats off to all the K'ville fans for the patience and support after all the success of previous years. Coach Neece is a class act, and those kids play their hearts out for him. Three rounds deep? Who knows??  The end result is a team that has greatly improved, gained some "Friday Night Experience" , and continues to play better each week. This speaks volumes about the Coaches and the kids. Congratulations guys!
  2. So what does everyone think? We kicked off yesterday afternoon, kids had a great time! They have such a nice facility out there and the weather was great. Saw alot of good teams, but most importantly, alot of great big smiles!! Good luck to all. Looking forward to a great season!
  3. Well, we did see ya at 4... but it didn't turn out quite like WE wanted it too! lol Big Congratulations to you and your boys! You have a really great bunch of kids and we definetly enjoyed the experience! Maybe next time we meet up, we can give ya a little better game. Are ya'll palnning on playin @ Kirbyville next weekend? If not, good luck to ya!
  4. WOW!  What an amazing day. We picked the team last Saturday, practiced twice on the field and once in the cage.... showed up in Jasper for the Slugfest, and played "lights out" baseball ALL DAY LONG! Our boys scored 56 runs and only allowed 6 in the first three games! Finally giving up a "heartbreaker" in the Championship to a strong Select Bombers team 12-9. Congratulations guys! We played some really great teams and definetly enjoyed the experience. Thanks to Wade and everyone who had a hand in the Slugfest. Hope it was a big success for ya'll! We appreciate the hospitality and sportsmanship from everyone there! Thanks and God Bless,  Orange All-Stars
  5. Well guys, all I can say is the "Kirbyville War Machine" will only get stronger! I believe most people are under the impression that there will be alot of major changes due to a new head coach. The truth is Coach Neece brought his dynamic version of the spread offense to K'ville years ago and has been calling all the shots on the offensive side of the ball for some time now.Given his past success as a defensive coordinator, Coach Neece is exceptionally well rounded.Seriously, who better to pick apart a good defense than a great offensive coordinator? (and vice versa) It is my personal opinion that the success of the Wildcats under Jack Alvarez was due to the fact that he had the right people in the right places, and allowed them full control to run their Offense and Defenses.W.T. Johnston is now the man at Newton (former K'ville Defensive coordinator) and Neece takes over the Wildcats. One unique factor to observe is Coach Neece's love of the school and community. He is striving to build the entire athletic program and implant a tradition of pride there, no matter the sport. He definetly has the knack for reaching the kids, and they adore him. You must be doing something right when there are little children running all around K'ville just awaiting their chance to one day, get to play for Coach Neece...
  6. Yessir. As a matter of fact, I just got the schedule. I see ya'll got the 8am. I was sure hoping we didn't draw that one... I don't think I would want to give any of our kids a bat after waking them up that early to be in Jasper, ready to play at 8am! Good Luck to you Coach, look forward to seeing you there.
  7. Hey Rick, Do ya'll plan to play the Slugfest in Jasper this weekend?
  8. Congratulations to all those nominated and selected for OYBS 2011 Pinto All-Stars! We have a great group of kids and coaches this year! This quite possibly could be our strongest group from Orange in a while. Good luck everyone! See ya in July...
