1. Anyone have suggestions on a stat tracking app for HS football? I've come across iScore, MaxStatsFB12 and iTouchStats Football but haven't tried them. Used the iScore baseball app this Spring and loved it.
2. It was a time limit game and he was home team, behind, had 2 outs with about a minute to go.  Was trying to start another inning.  If his foot was on the plate while a pitch was thrown, is it considered a strike?
3. Saw this over the weekend.  Coach tells his hitter to go up and put one foot ON the plate.  Kid does.  Pitcher throws a couple over before batter hits one into right field(while with one foot on the plate).  I thought if a player makes contact with a ball with his foot on the plate then he is out.  I questioned the umpire after the game and he said part of his foot was in the batter's box so he wasn't breaking any rules.  I thought both feet had to be within the batter's box.  What's the correct call?  Is it a strike if the kid is standing on the plate and does not swing, no matter the location?
4. Batter hits a line drive that hits the top edge of the first base bag and pops straight up in the air.  The first baseman comes over and makes the catch before the ball hits the ground.  The batter continues and runs through the bag.  The first baseman does not tag the bag because he catches it in the air.  Is the runner safe or is it a pop out since it never hits the ground?
5.
Centerville over Buna in 3....25-20, 25-21, 27-25.
Those scores were incorrect Actual Scores were 25-14, 25-6, 25-15
6. 8-6 Trinity top of 7th 1 out runner on 3rd
7. Couple of things to point out that I haven't seen yet. 1st= at the smaller schools, your athletic kids are playing all sports. Not just one. At the larger schools, don't most of these kids usually concentrate on one sport year around? 2nd= in order to truly judge this, shouldn't you be looking at the percentage of kids that go on to the next level based on school population? If you have 1 kid out of 300 students at the 2A high school make it to the next level, wouldn't that be the same as 5 kids out of a 1500 school pop playing at the college level? I would say check your percentages and this will tell you if small school is equal to big school. Not knowing which off hand, I would say that they are pretty close to equal. Athletes can be found at all levels. There are more at larger schools naturally because of the numbers. Now all things considered, I can see where recruiters or coaches may spend more time at 4-5a schools. Maybe it's because of the percentages or maybe these kids are playing at a higher level because there are more players of quality on that team to raise their game or they play all somewhere year around. I will not believe though that you must leave the numbers out like you stated in the very first post.
8. Anybody have the brackets for the D1 and D2
9. What Tourney is this or is it just a single game
10. I Have seen Normangee play against Lovelady and they are ethat good. QB and WR are twins. QB can throw and run the ball. Very quick and will scan the field when passing.
