Nederland is the heavy favorite currently at 42-17 in this weeks 'pick 'ems'. There's either a lot of people who know what they are talking about or a lot of people who will be 'eating crow' on Saturday morning.

I was at the Lee/Woodlands game last week. Lee played TW a much better game than anyone predicted. The Woodlands is solid (as always), but nothing spectacular. Final was 23-15. Lee just continued finding a way to stay in the game. QB is fast, but does not have the best arm. His favorite target that night was #4. Their passing game kept them in the game, as did their 'D'. Lee had a decent run stop 'D', but their passing D was suspect. Number 44 for Lee is a stud on defense. Gonna be a good game. Don't overlook this team!

For years it has annoyed me (and still does) whenever we (Ned) score or do something positive, and I'm wanting to hear our band play our fight song.......and NOTHING! For a band of our size, we should be able to hear them every once in a while. Instead, we all have 'Cherokee' engrained into our minds and ears. Come on band, make some noise or just stay home!  :P
