PNG did NOT move the ball up and down the field. The only time PNG marched down and scored at ease is after Ned scored the long TD run, and the game was all but over. Ned allowed PNG to score the last TD. Without that TD, your offensive yardage would have been very poor (220 yds) instead of just poor (285 yds) BTW- Ned had 326 total yards. Ned's D had 8 sacks, and tackled PNG's QB 5 more times while he was scrambling in which he gained 2 yds or less. In addition, PNG is averaging over 35 points per game outside the Ned game. Ned held PNG to 14 points (if you discount Benjamin's 80 yd run, then let's be fair and discount PnG's last drive). Check your history, good offenses will win you some games, but great defenses will win you championships. Wasn't this game played 3 weeks ago? Move on bplayer

How is Livingston favored? [/quote] People prob think that Livingston is the favorite b/c other than the Nederland game, they are putting up 45 points per game. In addition, Vidor beat Lumberton in a close game 30-26, whereas Livingston beat Lumberton 49-7. I'm not saying that Livingston will win, but I can see why they might be the favorite. The other common opponent was Nederland which Vidor played a closer game than did Livingston, so Pirate fans could use that angle as being favorites. Should be a good game.

Sometimes a coach can't help 'running up the score'. If u hand the ball off, and ur RB goes for 80 and a TD, there is nothing a coach can do to prevent that. In this case though, he had an opportunity to pull back on the reigns. If a team can't stop your 2nd team, then shame on them. However, Lumberton held them on 3 downs, so why not punt on 4th? I agree, completely classless. what is he trying to prove?
