1.
Bump for updates on IND stats. There you go guys  8)
Awesome job! FYI-Receiver from Nederland's name is Colton Kimler, not Cassity.
Wow! How in the world did they make 4A the last go around! La Marque going 3A they are going to be tough to stop!
Can you say multiple state titles??
I believe a school can opt to play 1 classification above their population level.
Actually, they can opt to play any classification above their enrollment level. An El Paso school has 3A numbers but has been playing 5A classification for many years now.
That's what I was thinking AAW. They'll probably stay 4A b/c they can. It's not like they are struggling.

 4.
Yep, I do think it needs to be the overall leaders not just the leader of that team. PNG Logan Chipman 19 Rec  241 yds  3 TD Tyler LaCour      16 Rec  239 yds  2 TD These guys deserve be on there. Probably more, but I understand that I think you were just doing one from each team.
In addition to Nelson, that's a pretty darn good group of receivers!
 5.

BC with the least difficult schedule? Isn't their only loss to a very good Vidor squad who just happens to be 4A?
We are 6 games into it. One good team doesn't make a tough schedule.
True, but that is their only loss. I would say Kirbyville has the toughest schedule in SETX-regardless of classification.
 6. We (Nederland) respect PNG as well, but we sure have a lot to say to each other during MCM! It's mostly tasteful, entertaining, and funny. Would just like to hear more about these two teams.  :)

 8. Say what you want to try to discredit this Ned 'D'. i posted the following before the Livingston game, so these numbers may be a bit higher for a few teams and lower for a couple: The Hill is averaging 34.5 points this year, except the Nederland game which held them to 10 pts in regulation (13 including OT). PNG averaging 35ppg. Scored 21 Vs. Ned (last score was with :03 remaining, so it wasn't relevant. Anyone who watched the game would concur). Vidor averages 29ppg (19 Vs. Ned). WOS averages 32ppg (20 Vs. Ned). From what I hear, Livingston has a potent 'O', just not sure if they have seen a 'D' like Big Neds! Should be a great matchup and an exciting game. Hopefully it will be an injury free game. Seems to be way too many this year. Livingston was averaging over 44ppg going in to the Nederland game, and Ned held them to 14 pts.
Not saying our offense is prolific but what offense has the Nederland defense faced that was all that?  3 of the teams you'll faced (Barbers Hill,  Vidor,  Livingston)  basically ran the same offense that is physical with a very small percentage of passes.  I think GC-M runs a spread but they are nothing to write home about.  WO-S offense is simply not what it use to be as we can tell so far this season.  And PN-G is not what it was the last 2 years when the had the QB that went to Oregon.  The most prolific offense you'll play in the regular season will probably be Ozens.  So we'll see just how good it is this Friday...
9. Agree!
That's just a houston area homer website. Its crazy to rank Livingston ahead of Nederland after that butt whipping they got in Jefferson County. Oh well..
Don't feel bad we beat Ned and yall took it to Livingson and we are at #3. The trick to this is that it is not a Current ranking! This is rankings for how far he thinks you will get in the playoffs which is no way to rank teams IMO. Teams should be ranked for their strengh not ranked higher because they have an easier road in the playoffs! Good Lord ::) For any person with sense the top three would be. BH NED Livingston
11. Ozen slows down the PNG offense, but not enough. PNG 28 Ozen 19
 12. That's true. Livingston fans did not make excuses for losing to Nederland. There were other people (from other towns ) discounting Ned's victory due to 'The Bull' not playing, but most Livingston fans showed class by not making excuses.
If Central wins this game I'll wear that silly ars gay indian headress at PNG and dance naked at a Vidor game with a picture of Soulja tatood above each nipple.  ;D
PLEASSSSEEEEE CENTRAL WIN HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Ohh?  Is that funny?  This coming from someone who blamed a 2 score loss on the absence of ONE player?  Ok.  Laugh at that.
who is that? I have never blamed the loss to ned on Mays not playing i was quick to say we lost the game because nederlands is a very good team!!
13. Big Ned's 'D' remains steady, and the offense is finding their groove. A late TD by Nederland, but the game is close throughout. Nederland 28 Central 13
Oh...wow. Not sure. Gonna be a great game for sure. Want to see if Vidor can slow down Ozen tomorrow night. Will make my prediction after that game.
After holding Ozen to 14 points, I can see Vidor 'upsetting' Livingston. I say 'upsetting' b/c I have a feeling that most people on this board will pick Livingston to win that game. I am not one of them! ::)
 15.

43 points in ONE quarter?? That has to be a new record for points in a quarter??
I'm not sure, but I don't think so.
I just can't imagine one team scoring more than that in one quarter. I can see 43+ points from both teams in a quarter, but not 43 from just ONE team.
 16. Slow or fast , I'd take a 'W' any day!  8)
 17.
What was the Ned Sterling outcome?
Not sure the final. Sterling won by 8 or so. Don't know other scores.
 18. 43 points in ONE quarter?? That has to be a new record for points in a quarter??
 19. Nederland beat PAM by 20. Play Baytown Sterling later today.
 20.

I was wondering when we would hear about Livingston playing without their RB, and how they would have won had he played. You can't just insert a missing player and say you would win. Heck, he would just be another in a line of players we put the brakes on. He couldn't be tougher to bring down than your QB. That guy is a hoss!
Livingston RB Devonte Mayes 37 carries  416 yards  11.24 yds per      8 TD's You lose that kind of production, it will hurt any team. Now, would it been the difference of Livingston winning or losing, that is all speculative. But he would have made a difference in the game, no doubt.
Corbin Carr for Nederland would have made a difference in the game too, but we didn't have him. If we lose the game last night, i don't think we make excuses for not having him on the field. Nederland has held every team they've played this year to well below their averages in ppg. Have we been full strength all year? No. No team ever is. You play with what you have available. This is not tennis or golf, it's a team sport.
 21.
I don't know why Vidor would even show up for this game they are clearly out matched....... NOT
Everyone said the same about the Ned/Livingston game last night, and look what happened!  ::)
 22.

where are those Lions fans now.... saying they were scoring 35 or more on big Ned...lol
They would have if Devonte played. He had the 28 points on PNG. Could have made the score identical.
Don't think so. It's a team game. Good teams find a way to win when they have injuries, and Ned has their fair share of injuries and missing players too. Let's not take anything away from what these kids have accomplished. Ned was missing two starting defensive players against PNG last week. PNG was averaging 34 ppg, and Ned held them to 21. Same with B. Hill, Vidor, and WOS. Held all of them well under their ppg for the season.
