Is that Neumann's game plan? I don't think he will double team anyone. You predict 42 pts, someone else predicted 35 b/c that's PNG's average for the year on offense. If we are using that mentality, let's look at what Ned has done to 'good offenses' this season. BHill scored over 30 against a very good Dayton team, and Ned held them to 20 in OT. Vidor's offense has been running over people all season, and Ned held them way below their average as well. PNG may have a good 'O', but you gotta give Ned's 'D' a little more respect. I see PNG scoring around 20-24 pts. Just don't know which Ned 'O' will show up. Offense wins games, Defense wins Championships! BH fans will say anything and everything. They are ruthless!! Vidor fans were pretty rabid last week too. We all know there's hatred between Ned and PNG, so what's there to say? We've been talking noise to each other way before message boards, Internet, or even computers! When it comes to Ned/PNG you can throw all stats and records out the window. Gonna be a Dawg fight as always. Just hope for a clean game, no injuries, and a Bulldog 'W'!

I think it has a lot to do with the fact that there are THREE-FOUR playoff spots (depending on classification)available each year. 15-20 years ago, you could not afford to lose 2 district games. Now you can go 4-3, 3-3, even 2-3 and possibly make the playoffs. It's hard to coach a 'killer instinct'. It has to be taught at a young age. Everybody gets a ribbon generation is now here.  :-\

The graduated kids can no longer participate. When Ned went to Houston last weekend, it was only kids still in HS, and they still competed. They will prob start slow, but will be tough to beat by years end. These Houston tourneys will get them ready for sure. The McFlight team from this past summer was heavy on graduated seniors, one soph, and 4-5 Juniors. If they go to the JY tourney, it will be the same team they brought to Pearland last weekend. Will be good experience/exposure for them regardless of how many games they win/lose. These Juniors have only lost 3-4 games since 7th grade, so they don't like the idea of losing. Having a winning mentality will win them some close games this season.
