Yea, I was a little annoyed at the bias commentating and the excuses. It was a homer fest. I’d like to see a NFHS broadcast more neutral. They did acknowledge the good game by the Hornet QB.

Agreed for the most part. LC isn’t a bad football team. They are what they are, a 4 seed. I wouldn’t say they have zero defense. Their opponents scored over 28 points only 3 out of 10 games. And those 3 were really good teams. LC will compete. The reality is Texas High would have to overlook them for this game to be tight. I don’t expect a blowout, but Texas should win with room to spare.

I thought West Fork was out of it. Yes, Lake Creek has already been to Texarkana once. I’m sure they are thrilled to go again.

Anderson has to hope that New Waverly beats Trinity. Owls would advance if 3 way tie.

If Dayton is down their top 2 offensive players, it won’t be much of a game, let down or not.

Poverty has become a choice for people. Many are eager at an early age to go sign up for their benefits instead of trying to make themselves employable. They choose that path.

How does the general public know how a district handles tiebreakers? Is that info published somewhere? I’m sure UIL has it for each district.

Dayton needs the win to have a playoff chance. But I don’t think PNG will let them do that.

Montgomery will probably be limiting their starters. Last year was a big game. Not so much this year.

Didn’t expect Kountze to be a 3 seed or better this year. New Waverly and Anderson both trying hard not to make the playoffs. Trinity could end it for them next week.

This district just got interesting for the 4th spot. Trinity can get a playoff spot by beating NW next week. If NW wins, looks like a 3 way tie. NW may need to win by 13 depending on how they do the tiebreaker.
