Crosby has scored over 50 in 9 of the last 10 games. Texas High hasn’t scored 50 all year. I agree that Texas will have to keep the Cougars short of that mark to get the win. I think this game may still go to the wire. Maybe it’s a 44-41 game. Take Crosby since all the playoff luck has followed them over the last 11 months.
-
Consol gave them a game at least.
-
I’m sure Crosby fans will be excited about this one. There will be a new champ. Who’s it going to be?
-
What a difference a year makes. Last year’s Crosby run was one of the most difficult tasks ever. This year, it’s a knife through hot butter. Gone are the dominating elite teams of FB Marshall and Huntsville. Texas High and Consolidated are definitely not better than last year. Crosby will double digit roll through Region 3.

Barbers Hill vs A&M Consolidated/ A&M Consolidated wins 41-35.

Hindsight is always 20/20. And to make a deep run, you have to have a bit of luck too. -
Too much Bremond tonight. Bremond controlled the time of possession in the 1st half with their running game. They scored on their first 4 drives. It was 28-0 and Evadale had only run 11 offensive plays at that time. The Rebels played better in that 3rd Qtr, but the Bremond QB and big #99 was the difference tonight.

Crosby by at least 21. Crosby has to be the favorite to win Region 3.
-
Madison was great when they had Vince Young at QB.
-
Didn’t they win 5 straight in that tough district before the FB Marshall game.
-
I guess BC wasn’t the real deal.
-
That’s true. Y’all had to do it the hard way last year. Can’t wait for playoffs. I saw 3 great Crosby playoff games last year. Can’t wait for the FB Marshall game.
-
Should have finished 2nd place like y’all did last year. December football would have been almost guaranteed.
-
I wouldn’t just give Marshall a win against Rudder. It will be Rudder’s first playoff appearance but they are pretty solid. The teams in District 10 are all pretty good. There are no easy wins, so they should be ready.
-
On the Nederland games, I find it interesting that TC played a 14-2 game and BH played a 66-28 game. BH is capable of winning but I don’t think TC wants to give up its 2 seed.

Mostly, yes. I’m going to watch Montgomery this week. They might be the team that plays the Crosby/FBM winner.

Looks like close game week in District 10-5A II. Competitive District. We've seen an 0-10 team from last year beat a 10-0 team. Standings 1. Montgomery 2-0 6-0 2. A&M Consolidated 3-0 6-1 3. Bryan Rudder 2-1 6-1 4. Fulshear 1-1 4-2 5. Lake Creek 0-3 4-3 6. Lamar Consol 1-1 2-4 7. Huntsville 0-3 2-4 Games this week: Montgomery @ A&M - This likely is the District championship Fulshear @ Rudder - Battle for playoff seeding Lake Creek @ Lamar - Probably must win for these two teams
-
I would agree with this ranking. Montgomery plays A&M this week, which should decide District 10

Lamar consolidated mustangs 33 huntsville hornets 30 final!!!

The Bobino run defense package has been replaced with the Swiss cheese package. Only 0-7 Kingwood hasn’t scored 30. With only 2 defensive starters back from a phenomenal defense of the last 2 years, it’s night and day. The offense cannot keep up. I wouldn’t be surprised if they go 0-6 in District. -

Yea, Huntsville is done. Looks like the 2020 revenge tour 4 straight weeks. 3 more to go. Major disappointment. -
Definitely should be the best game in the district this week.
-
Get the women and children inside.

No doubt good points and accurate except for the 5th place humor. The Hornet offense still doesn’t look like they can put up a bunch of points. Their starting RB has missed 3 straight games which hasn’t helped the game plan. The defense is still pretty good and will probably get better, but it’s not Bobino D. Crosby was the ONLY team to score 30 on Huntsville in the last 2 seasons. This year’s defense has given that up 3 times already in 4 games. The District is wide open and the Hornets could still win it. I don’t see any team making it though District undefeated.

Rudder was down 28-14 in the 4th Qtr but came back to tie and force OT. Rudder kicked a FG. Huntsville was at the 1 yard line about to win the game but the RB fumbled at the goal line. Long discussion about if he crossed the line but refs really had no idea so they gave it to Rudder.

5A – II District 10 Looks like a wide open District in 2021 Games this week: Bryan Rudder at Huntsville – Rudder is ready to try and take down the Hornets, who appear ripe for an upset Fulshear at Lake Creek – The loser will have a tough road to the playoffs A&M Consolidated at Lamar Consolidated – A&M should rebound from last week’s loss. Teams: 1. Huntsville football has become a perennial playoff team under head coach Rodney Southern. Offensively, they have 8 returning starters with valuable experience and considerable depth. However, they will need to reload after losing 9 starters on the defensive side of the ball, including the Bobino brothers. Injuries have been an issue so far this season. 2. Montgomery Bears return 8 starters and will once again contend. The QB, Bolfing, is an accurate experienced passer that leads a very solid offense. The RB is a big play threat. The Bears do lack depth so they must stay healthy. They are having to fill in some gaps from a large Senior class last year. 3. Bryan Rudder’s 2021 team could be the Best in School History. Rudder welcomes 15 starters back this season and most of them have multiple years of varsity experience. The QB, Ezar, is one of the top dual threat QBs around. Rudder has a solid defense, and OL. Even with a young secondary and WR’s, they expect to contend for a District title 4. A&M Consolidated has a lot of experience coming back, good chemistry, and a great coach. They have 11 starters returning, but will need to replace their QB, kicker and punter position. The Tigers are always in the mix to win District. 5. Lake Creek graduated its first senior class in 2021, including 12 starters, but still has great Senior leadership and was the 4th place team from last year. The receiving corp is young but good. They need to improve their depth but are fully capable of returning to the playoffs. 6. Fulshear has improved each year and is seeking their first playoff appearance, and has 18 starters back to try and do that. They will have to replace the QB though. 7. Lamar Consolidated can only go up from 2020’s winless campaign. They do have lots of returning starters, but playoffs don’t seem realistic this year.

This poll is a joke. Don’t even look at it. The 5th and 6th best teams in District 10 are ranked.
