FB Marshall could have been beaten twice in the playoffs. Yes, they will likely get to the final, but Aledo knows how to beat them.

For the record, FB Marshall had 265 yards against Huntsville, so half of what Crosby put up. Go figure.

Yes that’s it exactly. The Hornet defense played great. They held FBM I’m sure well below their normal yardage. Archane was pretty much the entire offense. You can stop him 4 out of 5 times, but he just needs an opening and he is gone. I expected Huntsville to win the game but 5 turnovers was too much to overcome. Special teams and the offense didn’t bring their A game.

The Huntsville defense played well. The kicking game mistakes were tough to overcome, especially giving them the ball at the 3 yard line. Holding FBM to 28 points should have been a win but it didn’t happen today. Manvel and FBM should be an entertaining game next week.

Didn’t expect the mistakes today receiving kicks. Two fumbles have setup Marshall for 2 TD’s. Still time but offense has to step up.

Fumbled punt by Huntsville as two guys run into each other gives FBM the ball at the 3 yard line. FBM scores on the next play 28-14

Just 2 big plays for FBM. Huntsville defense playing pretty well. I like their chances in the 2nd half.

Well they are Huntsville Homers so they are excited. This senior class has been a good one but certainly the dynasty comparisons are a bit much. Other than that, I thought their analysis was pretty good.

I’m not sure you can humanly stop big plays with FB Marshall. When #5 gets the ball, watch out. Huntsville gave up at least 6 big plays against Crosby and still won, so I’m confident the Hornets can win this one. PS: to Huntsville coaches: please do not kick off deep. I don’t really want to watch 100 yd kickoff returns.

I’m taking the underdogs. BH vs Huntsville next week.

Huntsville is well aware of the speed of FB Marshall. They had them beat.last year until the crazy play at the end. Achane is just ridiculous and can score anytime he touches the ball. Marshall is clearly going to make a lot of big plays. But Huntsville can also put up some points. Last year’s game was 47-43 and I think this one could look similar. I’ll take Huntsville in the rematch.

The Crosby receivers made some great catches today. 4 TD’s on big passing plays plus the FG was setup by a huge pass. I could not believe how many big plays the Crosby offense had. The defense also came up with some big interceptions. So. I was impressed with Crosby. Big plays is what will beat Huntsville, so to give up all those plays and still get the win was fortunate for them. Probably a good game for the Hornets to have before FB Marshall next week.

I have a feeling we may see some more deep throws into the Huntsville secondary. Huntsville needs to answer with a score.
