Yes, 7-0 game with FB Marshall involved is crazy. But their stud Achane is now at ATM and the QB is at Arkansas. They always reload with track stars but may need some time to get it together. Defense should be good but lots of unknowns at this point. Can’t really put them at #1 in this region until we see more.

I would say it is wide open. My top 3 would be FB Marshall, A&M Consolidated and Huntsville in no particular order. All 3 are replacing a ton of D1 talent but they all appear to be reloading.

The district is weak and New Waverly is likely the 2nd best team. NW is pretty good but I don’t see them staying within 30 of Newton.

Coldsprings loss to Tarkington was a fluke and Trinity isn’t that good. I’d be shocked if Trinity won.

Hispanics are now 52% of Texas public high schools. That’s probably higher in Region 4. But, many of these kids were born here in the USA. Their parents may have been immigrants. Yes, Soccer may still be the top sport among Hispanics, but the kids born and raised here like football too. Not sure why Hispanics are still considered a minority group at this point.

Trinity will try and run with their QB and RB, #3 and #4. That is pretty much their offense. Diboll shut them down and that’s how you win. I expect Coldspring to win with room to spare.
