Probably hasn't started since Katy- Deer Park just finished.

The Canyon High School softball team set a national record with its 72nd HR on May 6 against EP Parkland. They will be playing in the 5A Region 1 Final this weekend against EP Chaplin.

No surprise these two teams are in the Region Final. This will probably be a similar series as the BH/Brenham series. Should be low scoring and could go either way. Something tells me that BH will make just enough plays to win, but it should be a great series.
