Is this the Porter that has won 9 games in 6 years?
-
Why is the Miami line so low? This should be at least 10. What's up?
-
Wow. The pundits really going out on a limb, home team Auburn by 3, huh? I'll take the Ags.
-
I didn't see that game, but NW is run first, pass second. Their offensive line is supposed to be a strength. I'll be there on Friday to check it out.
-
I know that quite a few Hardin turnovers turned a 21-14 game to 46-14 by halftime. Hardin scored twice on special teams. NW rushed for like 400 yards. NW defense has played well the last two weeks, but they haven't played tough competition. EC has been playing 4A schools, so I'll go with them over the NW Bulldogs.

Has Oklahoma ever been a home dog under Stoops?
-
Great game. Should have two undefeated teams playing in Arlington in two weeks. Can't wait.
-
Rebuilding year for Cal. Plus they have a former Tech QB. Texas wins easIly. Ugh, that was hard to say.
-
Winnable game for Hardin. I'll say Yes.
-
Let's also point out that they were only a 3.5 point underdog to begin with. Was it that shocking? How do you jump that far on a game that could have gone either way? Go Cal Bears.
-
Unranked to #11 based on a 3 point OT victory at home. Makes sense.
-
Woodville has been impressive so far. I can't see Orangefield putting up a lot of points here, so I'll go with Woodville.

Looks like Cedar hill leads 42-41

Sometimes you just gotta do what they tell ya.

I'll forget about the 51-0 and go with Corrigan, even though they clearly have zero depth. Maybe the guys coming back will carry them.

Adrian Pererson uses statement by wos HC Thompson as fuel.

Very interesting. I actually remember that Palestine - Huntsville game because I have followed Huntsville for decades, but I didn't know the Thompson angle. Peterson didn't play for Thompson, and Palestine had only won 7 games in 4 years before Peterson. Huntsville goes up there the next year in 2002 and some dude (AP) that I had never heard of sets the school single game rushing record in a route over Huntsville. He of course ended up rushing for over 5,000 yards in his 2 years and took a terrible team to the playoffs both years. Now after all these years, I finally see what motivated him in that game. Thanks for the link. -
They need an extra week to get ready for Silsbee.
-
Yea, I think we need to understand what's up with the 51-0. Please enlighten us before I take a guess with Centerville. Normally it would be a close game, but who knows now.
-
Bishop Gorman is good! CH gets within 3, but now 44-14. This one is about over.

My understanding was that madisonville played a bunch of sophomores last year, and have most everybody back. Spread offense. New coach this year who won 4 state championships at Mart. They beat Diboll this week. I'm leaning with Madisonville against Woodville, but not sure now.
-
For me, it's Woodville. Regardless of why, seeing Corrigan ever lose like that is surprising. Very interested to see how Woodville does against Madisonville next week.
-
Who knows? Maybe the field was in bad shape. I don't know any coach that wouldn't want to play. Time to get ready for Coldspring, which will now be the season opener for both teams.

I hear lots of mistakes, cramps, penalties, and turnovers for Navasota in this one. Franklin's 7th grade offense is very good, as we saw last year, but I'm surprised at this one. Losing to a 3-A school half their size! Can they get it together next week for 5-A Mag West?

Goose Creek Memorial vs Tomball Memorial

I'll take Tomball Mem in a close one. -
Looks like illegal pitches are making their annual presence at the State Tournament. They called about 6 of them on the Harleton pitcher in the 1st inning. Also. The Crawford reliever came in and gave up at least 3, including the run rule walk-off.
