Who knows? Maybe the field was in bad shape. I don't know any coach that wouldn't want to play. Time to get ready for Coldspring, which will now be the season opener for both teams.

I hear lots of mistakes, cramps, penalties, and turnovers for Navasota in this one. Franklin's 7th grade offense is very good, as we saw last year, but I'm surprised at this one. Losing to a 3-A school half their size! Can they get it together next week for 5-A Mag West?

I'll take Tomball Mem in a close one.

Looks like illegal pitches are making their annual presence at the State Tournament. They called about 6 of them on the Harleton pitcher in the 1st inning. Also. The Crawford reliever came in and gave up at least 3, including the run rule walk-off.

Angleton wins 4-3 in 9 innings. Will play Magnolia West in the region Final

Game 3 has gone to extra innings tied 3-3. I think there are already at least 4 Region Finals that involve teams from the same district. Could be another here.

Stratford wins Game 2, 2-0. They are now playing Game 3. Would be interesting to have the Region Final come down to the 3rd and 4th seeds of Dist 19.

Congrats on the win. Enjoy. There are 60 teams in Region 3. The top 4 teams are all very good. Don't underestimate the power of luck. Now go get ready for West. Looks like a sweep to me.

Long night. 5-midnight. West seems to be in a lot of long extra inning games. I think they are built for marathon mode. BH was impressive. I thought they looked like the more athletic team. They did make a few mistakes. The 4 run rally in the 7th inning of Game 1 really turned things around.
