That should be the Game of the Year.
-
2 pt conversion was not a catch. Review missed it.

I don't feel bad. This is great. 4th time since 2010 that Okie St wins in Austin.

Tech gave up 82 last year to the Frogs. However, I think this year could be an upset opportunity for the boys with TT on their helmets.

How The (AL) West Will Be Won
Eazy replied to Ty Cobb's topic in Professional Sports- NFL, NBA, MLB, Etc
I think Houston needs to sweep Texas. They need to get a lead because they finish with 6 road games while Texas finishes with 7 home games. Asking the Astros to go 3-3 on the road may be too much. -
Lamar is very likely a playoff team this year, and I don't think Sam took Lamar seriously enough. Lamar shredded the Kat D in the Ist half. I guess the Kats figured if they could run with Tech, then Lamar would be no problem. The D was better in the 2nd half, but the 21 point halftime deficit was just too much. It wasn't that many years ago that Sam beat Lamar by 70, but Lamar is now the real deal. These two teams might see each other again in Dec.

or Arkansas losing to Tech.

Hogs rebound and cover. Could see some offense on both sides.

Yea, my therapist told me if I don't let it go, then the bad guys will just keep winning. I'm trying.

How many times Texas has not been favored at home recently? Well, 4 times last year. BYU, Baylor, W. Virginia, and TCU. Horns did manage to beat WV of those four. No home field advantage in Austin as Horns are 18-14 since 2010. Take out the pansies: Rice twice, Wyoming twice, New Mexico, New Mexico St, N. Texas, and Florida Atlantic, they are just 10-14. Nearly every Big 12 Team has won there (OK State 3 times) except Tech and Kansas. OU would love the opportunity. Take Cal If they are the lucky team playing tu this week.

astros at RANGERS (4 game series)
Eazy replied to Ty Cobb's topic in Professional Sports- NFL, NBA, MLB, Etc
Definitely need to win Thursday to stay within one game. I knew the Astros could lose 1st place on this road trip, but the Rangers still have to come back to Houston. Going to be a good finish. -
Manning said he thought Dallas only had one timeout, and that they might let the Giants score in order to get the ball back. So,actually not scoring for a couple of plays wasn't a bad idea. However, Dallas actually had 2 timeouts (I was confused as well). Why Manning then threw the ball out of bounds on 3rd down was very strange. I also noticed on the last Giant drive that they were snapping the ball with 20 seconds still left on the clock, so obviously they get an F for clock management. In summary, Dallas tried really hard to lose the game, but the Giants said no way, we're losing.

Awesome Game!

Good thing Allen came back in to QB. Ags were trying to give it away with the conservative play calling for Murray. Good win tonight.
-
I'll bet Arizona St enjoys watching their own Arizona high school players beat them.
-
Wow. Big TD run by Allen. 24-14. 8:32 left. Let's play D
-
Allen back in. Need a scoring drive.
-
Does Sumlin have ASU on his spread picks or what?
-
Murray back in. Time to run it up the middle
-
Hope that conservative play calling doesn't cost the Ags. Ridiculous

HUFFMAN HARGRAVE 6 NEEDVILLE 4/LADY FALCONS WIN STATE!!!
Eazy replied to WOSgrad's topic in High School Softball
Yea, it's gone national so she can't hide from it now. I'm sure she wasn't happy watching her team's early 4-0 lead evaporate in one inning. But in a televised State final game, she picked a bad time to show off her sportsmanship skills. She is probably just a 17 year old kid that messed up, so I don't want to rip her. There may be an explanation, but I haven't heard any response yet from her or Needville coaches. Best to eat crow when it's warm. We'll see if she can keep her scholarship now. -

Pretty sure that catcher has signed with SHSU. Hopefully, someone has a talk with her about that behavior. -
So you don't want a Super Bowl? Just give it to Seattle? Not going to happen. Any conclusions of guilt at this point would be a rush to judgement, which the NFL is pretty good at anyway. Play the game and sort it out afterwards. Oh, and guard those Super Bowl footballs.
