1. Carolina has won 18 straight home games. I think the Ags will play well, but I don't think it will be enough to pull the upset.
2. I'll go 9-4 again. Tough road games on the schedule include Mich St, Wisconsin, NW, and Iowa. Might be lucky to win one of those.
3. Take the under. 6-6 could be in the forecast. Defense will give up too many points.

I agree with 9-3, assuming the QB play gets fixed. The defense should be excellent, and the RB's are great if they stay healthy. OU, Baylor, and UCLA all look like top 10 teams this year. TCU could pull an upset on Turkey Day too..
5. And Arkansas is too good to be 7th. Hogs schedule even tougher than A&M as they have to play 8 SEC bowl teams from last year. As for A&M, I'll say 7-5, but I'm hoping for better. Defense will be much improved, but the big questions are replacing Manziel and Evans.
6. Texas will be thowing their Ace on Friday, so we'll probably see another 2-1 kind of game.  They could force another game but you really can't predict anything this year.  I'll root for the Frogs 1st, and then Ole Miss 2nd.
7. I went to bed in the 11th because it looked like a potential SHSU-TCU rerun. Not much offense so far in this CWS. Doesn't look like anybody is a HR threat.
8. Wow.  I wonder what happened.  Great guy, great RB.  He was the #2 all time leading rusher when he left Groveton.  Great career at A&M also.
9. Watching the Top 12 ranked teams in the country fall like dominoes, do we know who the better teams are?
10. Not a Coog or from Houston. Rooting for the Frogs and TT.
11. Irvine sweeps "the better team" OK State. Hopefully , they can keep it going next weekend.
12. Better team doesn't always win.  Especially in baseball.
13. Got that right.  Go Frogs, Coogs, and Raiders!!  Bring it home.
14. I think the Coogs are the better team and they get it done again on the road.
15. Rooting for the Coogs and Ags today!
16. Sam gets it done today against Sienna with two freshman pitchers after having to use 6 pitchers last night against TCU. Good thing they have a lot of piitchers. No idea who is starting tonight but I'm sure the Kats are going to give it all they have.
17. No crap! How do you make that ridiculous call at 1:30 in the morning? You should be good and ready for the game to end. I'd like to know where that ump is from? Bad news for Sam to have to win twice now today. I doubt they have anything left in the tank.
18. Former Huntsville Hornet QB/DB Justin Gilbert ran a 4.37.  Could be the top DB in the draft.
19. New Waverly by 19 over Woodville is nuts.  I think Woodville has an excellent chance to win that one.
MY ISSUE EXACTLY! Magnolia West? Please, they do have some size due to their enrollment but we scrimmaged them last year and while we wouldn't have beaten them like we did Willis it would have been pretty bad. So Johnson did transfer to Navasota?
Magnolia West had a young team last year and managed to make the playoffs and not completely get rolled by GTown. I think they will have a good team this year, but probably not better than Brenham. I think #2 in 18-4a.
I was also very surprised to see Mag West at 7.  They should be improved but I'm not sure they will even be the 2 seed.  Both Huntsville and Montgomery will have something to say about that.

Case closed, try again.  ::)
Humble and SC will have very close number.  SC picked up some of Humbles kids over the past couple years.  This will level off.  Look at Humble's numbers in 2010 (District 18 at that point); [Hidden Content]
2010 is irrelevant, there has been a re-alignment since then.  ::)
And another ...this school will never hit 3,000+ kids in the near future.  What you'll see is SC with about 1800 kids as will Humble.  A shift of a 200-300 kids is not massive.  ALSO ...if SC has to go 5A ...Crosby damn sure has to go too.  Their numbers are similar.
I believe Humble's enrollment dropped at least 25% or more when SC opened.  At the time, SC was projected to have an enrollment of 3300 students by 2017.  SC and Atascosita will always be larger than Humble High.
22.

Different years and different kids.  We'd have to look at the strength of competition those years as well.  No shame in losing to the team that eventually went to Jerry land.  Now had we lost to ANY of the remaining field of competitors ...then I'd be feeling different right now.
A loosing record in the playoffs is a loosing record. Years don't matter. But if you do what to look at the level of competition - see above. And remember that in '11, after breezing through their cupcake district, Summer Creek was donkey-stomped by a team that was donkey-stomped by a team that lost to Manvel. What would you consider SC's best win against real competition?
Their non district schedule has always been pretty easy, which you might expect with a new program.  SC didn't make the playoffs in 2010.  They did well in 2011, but remember that it was a weak district that was completely swept in the 1st round by 17-4A.  19-4A had quite a few poor teams last year so best wins thusfar would have to be against Crosby and Vidor during last season.  SC should continue to get better in 2013.
23. Barbers Hill trying to take out both the Brenham girls and boys in consecutive weeks.
