I agree. The Montgomery QB had a couple of scrambles for 14-20 yards. But that was it. The Hornet defense knew the game plan. Montgomery is a big play offense, but through 3 Qtrs, they only had 2 plays over 30 yards. They did get a few chunk plays in the 4th Qtr. I don’t know if Huntsville relaxed with the 26-3 lead, but the game got interesting for a bit. TD, onside kick, TD and it was 26-18. The Montgomery receivers did get open a few times, but it did seem mostly like #12 was just throwing it up there. The Hornet pass rush had something to do with that. The Hornet defense is starting to play really well.
