I predict that fans will be asleep by halftime.

D1 is clearly tougher than D2.  Those 1st round games between 19-4A and 20-4A are going to be awesome.  Plus add Georgetown and Pearland Dawson and that makes for a very tough region. D2 has undefeated teams FB Marshall and North Forest, who have both had very weak schedules.  North Forest's closest game was 43-0 as they have just feasted on weak HISD schools.  Brenham has a very good shot to win this region.  

District Champs or Bust!  It does seem odd.

The winner gets an easier 1st round against Groesbeck, but would draw Navasota in the 2nd round.  So, the loser of this game actually has a better chance to make it to the 3rd round.

Should be a great game that goes to the wire.  The loser gets a little tougher 1st round game against Fairfield. 

Deweyville completely outplayed and outcoached New Waverly.  They just manhandled NW on the line.  If they bring that same effort against Groveton, I'll say they win 54-27.  Groveton has had a couple bad games, but they have played both NW and Corrigan close.  It's all on the line so I would expect their best effort here.

Deweyville should be the 1 seed due to point differential.  D = -3,+21=18.  NW = +21,-21=0.  CC = +3,-21=-18.  However. Deweyville still must defeat Groveton to even make the playoffs.  Groveton needs to win to tie Deweyville at 3-2, and they would have the head to head tiebreaker. Groveton is good enough to win this so Deweyville has to bring it again like they did against NW.

Poor Porter.  Lose to both Humble and New Caney.

Sounds like Huntsville left some gift wrapped presents for the Cubs.  Once again, if Huntsville doesn't turn the ball over, this game goes to the wire.  I'd like to see the stats on this game.

Yea, they execute it well.  The kicker does a great job with the kicks.  Not sure I would try it every time.  Often giving the ball to the opponent at midfield.  Especially if they know its coming.  Maybe dink it over the 1st line once in a while for some variation.  It's 32-0 so I guess it works.

Not sure what's up with all the onside kicks.  Deweyville is very impressive tonight.
