1. I doubt SHSU would be the place.  I dont think they can schedule the field since Sam may be hosting a playoff game.  All game dates/times unknown until the NCAA seedings and matchups are set.  We'll see.
 2. 18-4A going to be swept out of the playoffs.  17-4A much tougher than expected.
 3. Manor 47 Huntsville 21
 4. Manor 34 Huntsville 21 Lufkin 28 Dekaney 20
 5. Lufkin 28 Dekaney 14. 3rd
 6. Manor 21. Huntsville 7.  Half Lufkin. 20. Dekaney. 7. Half Hearne. 21. New Waverly 0
I understand your hesitation, but we watched them play last night. Line backers are small and defense is very spongy we will win by 30 they can't stop our offense, however they are explosive on offense but will will stop them some, I look forward to a 60 to 30 win. remember we have punted 3 or 4 times all year. No turnovers and the Pirates win this one BIG!
Well, I haven't seen a bracket that picks Deweyville to win yet.  In that regards, they are probably considered the underdog.  However, Deweyville has definitely flown under the radar so far.  I won't be surprised at all if they win it.
 8. Looks like Elgin started off with 2 easy games, then the next 5 games were against good competition, before finishing with 3 easy District games.  Georgetown and Connally took them behind the barn and whipped them pretty good.  This game definitely should go to Brenham unless they blow it.  I sense BrenhamFan is getting a little nervous by lowering his prediction.

 10. I am bewildered as to how Taylor beat LaVega.  Taylor lost to Caldwell for gosh sake and was pummeled by Navasota 52-0.
 11. It's going to be Elysian Fields vs Deweyville
 12.
67-54 EF 4:52 left
Winona turned the ball over which has allowed a 2 score lead now
 13. That drive took a whole minute
 14. 7:37 left.  Still time for 4-5 more TD's
 15. Deweyville might feel optimistic playing against one of these defenses.

I saw some film and they look like Manor in green jerseys. I think it's gonna be a great game.
I don't think you can say that the District is necessarily weak in comparison to others.  Their may be some average to poor teams, but the worst team in 18-4A could beat the bottom 3 in 19-4A all day long.  Uh....I believe your worst team was beat by one of the bottom three in 19-4A this year.........
Crosby didn't put 63 on anybody in the district, and the 18-4a team they did that to was competing for a playoff spot until late in the season. Magnolia West would finish behind KP with the bottom three in 19-4a
Magnolia West beat KP 42-19 last year. Mag West would finish in front of KP this year.  I promise. I said after the very 1st game this year that Willis would not seriously compete for a playoff spot.  That was before Crosby dropped 63 on them.  They finished 2-8, so I'm not sure how you define "competing for a playoff spot until late in the season".  They did start District 1-0 cause they opened with Caney Creek.  Whoopie-Doo I'm not saying that 18-4A's playoff teams are better than 19-4A's playoff teams, but the 18-4A non playoff teams are absolutely better.
Like you said, they beat them last year. Magnolia West was pretty decent last year, they just happened to get smoked by Dayton, but hey that happens to the worst of us. About 7 weeks into the season I was reading Willis had a chance, I knew they wouldn't make it either but it was what it was. We tried to scrimmage Mag. West but our players kept running up and down the field so I guess they just abandoned the game situation part. You stay at home with four district losses here and they would surely lose to all four 19-4a playoff teams and play KP for 5th. I'm just saying I would take my 19-4a boys in that one because at least they were competitive, Mag. West was just big and slow.
Willis mathmatically had a playoff chance with 3 games left.  Of course, Humble did too with only two games left.  It wasn't ever going to happen.
Ah, you are correct.  The 21-20 barn burner that New Caney won in the season opener.  I think Caney Creek wins the rematch.
 19. I think the teams are evenly matched.  The running back for Manor that ran for 254 yds against Connally scares me a bit.  But, I won't be surprised either way on who wins.

They probably should have beaten Brenham but mistakes and turnovers generally appear at critical times.  Huntsville can certainly win this game, but it all comes down to making plays.
I believe this. ;D
Not sure if they would have beat us, but we only win by 3 instead of 10, or  maybe we see overtime.  We had fumbles also.  The thing is, we recovered all of ours and most of theirs.
Well, there was a bad center snap on a punt attempt that Brenham scored a TD on. Then the Cubs kicked a field goal two minutes later after the Huntsville QB fumbled.  And finally, after the Hornets fought back and took a 21-17 lead midway through the third quarter, Brenham recovers a fumble in the Huntsville end zone to give the Cubs the lead for good.  Just typical Huntsville errors (that Brenham doesn't do) that I had already predicted would happen before the game anyway.  Just sayin.

 23. I lean with 18-4a because I'm kind of a homer too.  The smart play may be on Manor and Connally.  I think both games will be close though.
 24. WOS has a pretty easy road to this matchup.  Navasota has to get past Jasper and either Coldspring/LaMarque.  Navasota better stay focused.
 25. Brenham wins, Mag West gets killed, Huntsville and Montgomery games are probably a toss-up, but I'll lean with 18-4A.
