1. I'm hearing that Porter is much better this year and shouldn't be taken lightly, but in football you can never take a team lightly so I'm sure the Panthers will be ready to go.
 2. Hopefully this is a good one driving 50 miles in this weather isn't easy

And is it worth driving an hour from Liberty lol?
Well, if you can get the CW Channel 10 on your cable, just stay at home and watch it on the TV. Or you can watch the game on KFDM.com.
Well if I was going to stay home I was going to watch the Oregon game, I just wanted to watch some live football, and this was the only game that looked good enough to go to.

 5. Jonathan Gray and Malcom Brown= National Championship soon!
 6. Ryan Melton from Liberty had 4 offers at the end of last season not sure how many he has now, he's a senior this year.

Liberty had back to back shut outs, and Coldspring is still Coldspring.
With you but look who Liberty played? Then you guys are playing Porter? I think that is getting fat and not making your team any better.  Not to say Huffman had it any easier but I saw them last night and they will have to work on some things to compete.  Right now I would say Coldspring, Liberty and Huffman or Cleveland. Will see what Huffman has next Saturday when they play Kpark. I like the qb from Liberty and think if he gets on a roll he will lite Huffman up if they cannot cover the pass any better than they did last night. Not so sure that Liberty can stop the  Gray and Townly kid for Huffman either. Huffman has a pretty potent sp offense if they can cut down on the dump penalites sp and turnovers. Going to be fun.
All I said about Liberty was that they had back to back shut outs, didn't say there wasn't any room for improvement. The fact that Liberty shut out Huntington without their starting Linebacker and 2 starting corners and shut out Hardin with the same situation except they had one of those corners for a half is impressive. The good thing for Liberty is that 6 different corner backs are getting work in due to injuries and its even better that one starter returns this week and the other possibly the next. So when it comes time to play Huffman, a passing team, they will have all the starters back in the lineup with back-ups that have experience against passing teams (Hardin and Porter).

They are young and will improve and I do like the kicker and MLB for Huffman. The DBS for Huffman better improve or they will jacked up when they play Liberty. Plus a couple of the DBS Need act like they have been there before. After you make a good play remember your not Jack Tatum or made the play of the year. Going to be a fun year.
Well If what your saying is true, they only have 2 players? Huntington was obviously not near as good as Huffman, but they did have 2 very good athletes at QB and RB and got beat 40-0 by Liberty so if Huffman plans on beating Cleveland and Liberty this season someone else is going to have to step it up.
Dont worry Huffman will be fine. You gotta remember that the QB hasn't been there very long. He is still learning the players and offence. By week 4 we will be good to go.
Yeah that is true, I would say he is still learning the players the offense should be well learned by now, he has had all summer and 2 a days to get that down, I can't remember if the Huffman fans were saying that their O-Line or their D-Line wasn't looking so good which one?

 11. Back to back shut outs with key players on the defense for Liberty missing both games, in the 1st game the starting corner on the other side was taken out and did not play against Huntington, so 2 starting corners and starting LB out in the 40-0 win.

Serious question.  What grade would you give the O-line?  The team overall? What do you think their record will be at the end of the year?
o-line b. team b-. offense a defense c+ 8-2, maybe 9-1... WEAK SCHEDULE.. offense is STRONG
:D :D :D :D lmao 8-2 or 9-1 :D :D I suppose you will beat wos in the first round too right? Thanks for the laugh.
I'm with you FalcFanatic...with a suspect O'line they're bound to fail. Those boys shoulda spent less time at Whattaburger and more time in the weight room.
The Panther defense was the weakness last year not the o-line? They played great allowing 0 sacks week 1 and the team rushed for well over 2 almost 300 yards, they've done nothing wrong so far.
 13.
Look I understand.  Your kid probably plays in the team.  It's not his fault the O-line is garbage.  You really can't blame the coaches.  You can be the best jockey in the world, but you won't be able to win the Kentucky Derby on a donkey. I'm sorry if all this is hurtful to you, but it is what it is.  The team would be better served if the O-line was replaced by a set of scarecrows.  Look it's no surprise they're having a lot of turnover at DKR, with their grounds crew.  Major must like how nice and cut your field is, and is looking for some solid replacements. Yeah they did. Huntington took them to the woodshed last year.  I'm sure they're still in their heads.  No way you get over such a beating in a year.  Liberty needs to get some better tackles.  Not a single Div.III prospect in the bunch.
you're retarded..
LOL, wow does it hurt?  Did I cut too deep there?  Welcome to an adult debate...hey didn't the tardy bell ring already shouldn't you be off to class. Stop look at this team with your rose colored glasses.  They should be happy to repeat their 5-6 record from last year.
i'm an adult.. i just know uneducated opinions when i see them.. you on the other hand clearly have the reasoning of a toddler.. please get on and post after the beating liberty puts on huntington tonight.

Even though last year they had a back rush for 1600, a QB throw for 1700, the WR and backup RB combining for near 500 but the O-Line is terrible? You can say there not good but to say theyd be better off replaced with scarecrows is dumb.
 14. It's going to be interesting to see how Huffman fairs next week, this week obviously won't tell the outcomes of the Cleveland vs Liberty or Liberty vs Huffman or Huffman vs Cleveland game but it's going to give us a little more information as to how good these 3 teams actually are, Liberty has the weaker opponent so a blowout would match wins by Huffman and Cleveland.
 15. Coldspring Liberty Cleveland
 16.

Tarkington should take care of business here.  No way they let Huntington come in to their house the first week of the season and win.
Ok.......
Who won???
 17. Despite Liberty missing their LB and CB they shut out Hardin 49-0, Fitzwater threw 4 TD's Mosley (WR), Williams (WR), Vaught (FB) and Fregia (RB), Fitzwater was spreading the ball around, and had the hurry up offense looking like an oiled machine, not to mention the fact that his 50 yd TD to Williams and 20 yd TD to Melton were both called back on penalties, despite the penalties on offense both sides of the ball looked great for Liberty and when they return their LB and CB they should look even better.
 18.
Liberty should be able to score, only question is will the D be able to hold up against, the pass.. but I will still take the panthers 36-20!
Who knows, but good thing Hardin's passing attack isn't the best.
 19.
if jv is any indication i say liberty by 4 td's.. jv won 32-0..
The fact that JV shut them out should just be an addition to Liberty's win tomorrow night, not so much of an indication because if you say that all these guys will hop on here crying there eyes out asking if you're really saying JV matters, but I know what you mean.
 20. Once again WOS gets ranked higher than Coldspring, smh.
 21.
Just curious and trying to piece this together.  Did Nederland's size out weigh the speed of Dayton?  It appears that it did not.  So, are you saying, then, that WOS does not possess the speed of Dayton?
Actually I think that Nederlands size will out weigh the speed of WOS this time but I could be wrong I was last season. I also believe this could be the best coaching that WOS will face this season, which brought out the coaching comment.

They don't posses the talent of Dayton or they wouldn't of lost 28-0 last year.
 22.
Liberty acts like its doing something by beating a two a school? Man up and play someone and stop trying to get fat on smaller schools. Grades usually wipe out about a third of the Liberty players so come district roster may change.  ???
Actually bud, Hardin is 5 miles down the road so it's called a rivalry, I know last year was the first time they played but it's already intense and both teams talk like they will win this game so it's not a given that Liberty takes this, and Liberty lost a total of 0 players on the varsity level to grades last year, IDK about the year before but I know it was pretty bad the year before last, but grades have improved.
 23.
I believe Liberty wins this one by 3 scores. Hardin has a good passing attack that picked H-D apart. The offensive scheme that Haynes runs is awesome. Hardin will score on Liberty via the air a few times. Problem is... Hardin is very small and young, also the Hornet defense can't stop the run. Liberty will have size in the trenches over Hardin. Neither teams are any good, neither makes the playoffs this year. But... Liberty wins this game 42-21. If they run at Hardin?
Neither makes the playoffs? LMAO I will remember this no doubt, even people from Huffman who hate us think we are getting third but we're not even settling for that haha.
 24.
Fanatic why waste your time talking to someone in the Liberty County Jail? These two Bozos are the same person or Bartle and James moved to Liberty. Let the players do the talking on the field and lets see what happens.
I wonder how it feels being less educated than two "bozos" in Liberty County jail.
