yeah i think BC (had they made it to Austin) would have won it outright... but when people put togethor postseason top 10s... the top 4 have to be the state tournament teams... heres a list of local players that have gone in the draft... Kevin Ahrens - SS - Houston Memorial HS (goes to the toronto BLUEJAYS... as the 16th overall pick (1st round)) Collin Delome - LU... (goes to the astros) more to come (hopefully) (not a local one here, but) Liberty Eylau's William Middlebrooks went 174th pick overall (5th round) to the Boston Red Socks

its pretty cool... hes doing a summer strength/conditioning camp at some local schools... PNG and HJ for now.... and i think also Evadale is starting up one as well...

Ahmad Jones - Silsbee hes pretty dang big... over 300 pounds... HJ has a freshmen (one of the hardest hitters) weighs like 120... only about... 5'2" ...

yeah... im pretty sure they did... i think they beat Martins Mill by like 2 points...

wow... 95 MPH... to me thats amazing for a high school kid... thats pretty good for just about anyone, but especially a high school kid... wow...

wow... abilene wylie has a good athletic program... to make it to the state championship in basketball... two straight trips to austin in baseball... their football team is ranked in the top 10... their girls soccer team was ranked number 8 in the state (in 4A... because there is no 3A soccer)... seems like they're working hard over there at abilene...

wow... those scores seem kind of strange... new deal/seymour game 1 came out 14-6 game 2 only 4-2 then... lovelady/price carlisle... game 1 was 13-0 game 2 was 10-3 the othher way also... shiner/thorndale game 1 came out 5-1 then game 2 was 14-1 the other way... lots of highscoring games there... and also... didn't thorndale make it to the finals in Basketball???

lol... actually they had this barbacue at the Pinewood Country Club after we won the state championship... all the players and coaches were there to talk to people and sign autographs for the kids... it was pretty cool...

im gonna try to go tomorrow...

lots of us HJ players have been playing games on the weekends... i've been watching lots of pro-games and working on skills and i know that lots of the other guys have been doing the same... i think we will be better next year... but i do understand what you're saying... it does take a lot of work... i was just saying how that we'll have lots of the same guys the next 2 years... which gives us some room to grow and get better as a team...

The rest being HJ, WOS, and Ozen??? i think that HJ will have a good team soon... maybe not next year, but the year after maybe... we are only losing 4 seniors... and we only had 2 juniors... in 2 years we'll only lose 6... and the majority of our starters were sophmores/freshmen... so i think we will do ok... at least better than we've been doing past couple years...
