i wish they would play these games a closer... and does anyone have any info on Bellville... i saw their record, but how good are they???

the coach was right to punish them, but wrong to just leave them in austin... he should have notified their parents that they needed a ride home before he left them... if i was the coach... i would not have left them... i would have brought them back to the school and made them run so much...

i dont know... Warren will be good but, Kountze seems to keep re-loading year after year... next year they have Jamesky and Bray to lead the team... and i think they are supposed to have a good J.V. coming up next year... so im gonna agree with Lazeek and say that its gonna be EC and Kountze leading this district and Warren a close 3rd... but i may be wrong i dont know much about the situation over at Warren... so they may pull an upset... this is a good district...

i cant find silsbee ever winning a state championship in basketball... i checked the UIL past champions archive... and did a search of the page for Silsbee and nothing came up... so as far as i can guess... they dont have any...

yeah... HJ will be a force to reckon with... but it does hurt to lose a Donahoe who scored almost 30 of our (around) 60 points in the state championship game... we should still be really good though...

saturday will be a double header if needed... 7pm at Willis would be the 3rd game if its needed is what i heard... so... GAME 1: 7:00p.m. - friday - At Willis GAME 2: 4:00p.m. - saturday - At Willis GAME 3(if needed): 7:00p.m. - saturday night - At Willis... this is what i heard from one of the players... not 100% sure but it looks pretty good...

oh yeah... true... but i think that HJ ,Ozen, and Kountze might give PAM a run for their money... i would say that the 3 possible playoff teams would come down to... Kountze a couple of years ago (when they wone either their 1st or 2nd state championship) (out of the last couple) they played HOUSTON MILBY who won the 5A state championship that year... going undefeated (like 38-0) and they only lost by like 12... so i think that some of these smaller schools could probably put up a good fight...

do you think that silsbee would have been as good as they were without HARPER??? he was their main scorer from what i saw... HJ would not have been as good without Donahoe i agree with you there... but they do have quite a few good players to back him up... they would have still been a very good team without him... maybe not a state championship team, but still very good... its kind of hard to say... "WHAT WOULD THEY HAVE BEEN LIKE WITHOUT DONAHOE"... because if they didn't have him they would probably have re-aranged their offense a little bit... to make it work... so its hard to say... the fact of the matter is that they did have Donahoe and he is a great player that led them to the state championship...

there are some 3a schools that have soccer programs... there just aren't enough of them state wide to have a 3a district... but yeah its mainly because of money and numbers... at some small 3a's and down there isn't enough money to pay for another sport or there isn't enough interest in the program and not enough players to put a team on the field...

i was nervous those last couple innings... and also gotta bring up the diving catch by gotreaux(spelling?) in right field... was a great catch... and dont remember who hit it but the only RBI of the night was an awsome rip down the 3rd base line...

i hear cam powell and fred boykins signed togethor at a different college as well... would be a fun game to watch if their schools played eachother...

i dont even think im getting points for week 5 because i have an incomplete roster... because i accidently got rid of one of my players and didn't have anymore transfers so im short a defender... sucks...

well yeah... maybe not as a district but if we had like an all SETX tournament... with these teams... would be cool to watch... if that was a district i would say it would probably be... Ozen and HJ for 1st and 2nd... then 3rd would be between Kountze, EC, and Silsbee...

dude eddie had 73 points and i am really wishing i had set him as captain... i put carlos ruiz as my captain and he had like 4... X2 - 8 total... if i had eddie as captain woulda been really good...

I think HJ deserves to be in the top 20... seeing as how they beat the number 8 and number 10 teams... and only lost to the number 5 team by 2 runs...
