i agree that Southerland is the best coach in the area... but i got 2 names that no one has brought up that i have to throw out there.... Joubert - Kountze head coach Williams - Silsbee head coach both are very good... Williams coached with Southerland at Kountze when they won the state championship

yeah we sucked this year... but not next year but the year after dat... (2008-2009) season... we're gonna on top... we'll either win the district or for sure at least 2nd or 3rd... we'll make the playoffs... that year and the year after for sure...

this is probly one of the most competitive and talent filled district in most of the state in several sports....

we'll probly have several freshmen(sophmores next year) on the varsity team... i know for sure at least 2 or 3 will most likely be starting... we have one freshmen this year...Jake Leiger.... he is benching about 250 right now and squating about 300... as a freshmen... he i think finished in overal wieght in Powerclean, Squat, Bench, and Incline combined he had the third most in the entire athletic program.. very strong... then we also had 2 freshmen that ran the fastest miles in the athletic program... they ran like 5:40s i think.... so we have both speed and size/strength coming up... so maybe not next year... but the year after that we should be very good...

west hardin is losing some very good players... Brandon Letsinger-QB.. and Zach Simons-RB... both were standout players this last season... but they also have some good talent coming up... Tyler Copeland will most likely be the QB next year... he played part of the season this year when Letsinger was hurt... he'll be a Junior next year... he'll be a player to watch out for...

2 of the teams (Silsbee and Orangfield are in district 21-3A tough district)... and (correct me if im wrong) but i think that HJ was ranked earlier in the year... where they?

oh... are ya'lls junior high teams not very good? I know that we have some talent coming up for the next few years... our freshmen team is very good... our J/V is also good... and our 8th grade team has lots of talent... not so sure about 7th grade but i think they're pretty good... so we whould be good for a while...

Oh... and i've been wondering for a while... if any one could help me out with this i'd be greatfull.... at the Kountze tournament a while back. The Silsbee Freshmen team was disqualified because they had an ineligable player... im not sure on why he was ineligible. or even why he was playing shouldn't the coaches have known that he was ineligible??? Please help me out on this

I wanna know what everyones favorite offensive and defensive formations are... mine are Offense: Shotgun (2RB, 1 Tightend, with Twins recievers) Defense: Nickel

HJ just flat out dominated that game... i saw the last couple minutes of it... im looking forward to the HJ vs. Silsbee game... that should be a very good game... i will definately be going to that one...

also if you have any comments... or stats on any of the freshmen teams/players... please post them...

the way it looks now the three playoff teams.. (this is in no particular order) will be 1.Hardin Jefferson 2.West Orange Stark 3.Silsbee if u think its going to be something different.. put what... and also put how far u think each team will go in the playoffs...

yeah... jasper did good... i play for hj... we did bad.. we just fell apart... and nobody knew what was going on... it was pretty bad on our part...

yeah that was so funny.... i saw dat... ( and also im not suprised that SLC won this year... but im curious to see how they do next year with a new coach)

Im pretty sure that WOS wont go undefeated next year.... they're losing several good players and i know that there were some good freshmen teams this year so theres good athletes coming up in almost every team in the district.... i bet they will win district but i think it'll be close between them and whoever comes in second...

we have a few good freshmen, that could possibly play on varsity.... 1 of them could probably even start....

Both the HJ 8th grade girls and boys are both very good.... not sure bout the 7th graders though....

I'm an HJ Soccer player and our head coach is a real coach. Our assistant coach is a member of the maintanence crew at the school... but he knows more about soccer than any other coach at our school, and he plays in some kind of soccer league, and i hear is very good... Also, about the size of our program... we had 40 players originally come out for soccer, but several of them quit... i think we have around 30-35 left right now... not sure exactly... we aren't the best team in the district... but i think we've got potential to do pretty decent this year.... we have several returning seniors... and a few good sophmores and freshmen... so im expecting at least a decent season
