Well, I visited the library today and Yes, the baseball team did infact make it to the playoffs that year. After 42 years some people tend to forget I guess. ;D

PNG, LCM, and Vidor are going.... Jags arnt a good enough team to sneak into the playoffs..... Nederland could though, we'll just wait and see.

O really.... I think I remember him from when we played Silsbee. Funny though, he didnt look like he was all that great. He must have had an off night I guess.

Im pretty sure Central, Lumberton, and PNG have clintched the playoffs, but im not quite sure..... Has Vidors late surge put them in position to sneak in or not? Standings now are 1. Central 2. Lumberton 3. PNG 4. Vidor 5. Nederland 6. Silsbee 7. LCM 8. HJ 9. Ozen 10. WOS Right???

A couple years ago they counted the goals that they allowed at home when there was a tie breaker. Central allowed 4 goals at home so if Lumberton can win by more then 1 OR win and keep Central under 4 they win. But, since the new point system has started I dont know how it goes.
