Hey guys, Ive heard that at the Mid County Madness game next Sat in Nederland they are going to promote to everyone attending the game to go help out our friends in Bridge City on Sunday. I wanted to tell everyone to consider going to help. I spent most of the day today in Bridge City helping and its a slap of reality when you're down there to actually see the devastation. Those folks lost everything. I went thinking I would be there to give a few hours and ended up staying most of the day and when I left I felt guilty. The folks are so appreciative of getting a hand with anything we can offer. Again if you have the means please consider this, you will not regret it and I know it means the world to the good folks of BC.

What are you talking about? Hall was at RB all hear... :-\ I was at the PNG vs Central game last year and Stowers had Hall playing WR the entire first half. It wasnt until at some point in the 3rd Qtr that Hall lined up at RB. It wasnt a suprise that Central started putting up some points after that. I feel like Lee Corso.."Not so fast there Bucko," Hall scored a TD in the 1st quarter at RB (I think he had two for the game)...and he played that position all season long...He was an H-Back...Hybrid dude...WR-slash-RB-slash-QB-DB. Maybe it was too much for him or as I already know...he was more concerned with other things! Hall was apart of the reason for our sluggish play! He's a great young man who didn't "Git R Dun!" nope. He played a few snaps at RB in the 1st half including a TD run but 95% of his plays were at WR. call it a hybrid or whatever you want but he wasnt behind the QB playing RB consistantly until the 2nd half of the ballgame.

Wow, do you really think that? You must have been watching a different Nederland. they had fundamentals???? what does that mean? They allowed 63 to Dayton, 33 to Lumberton, 28 to PNG & 29 to Central....but at least they new the proper way to tackle.

Any new news on the state of this game? I heard this AM there is now a mandatory evacuation for Freeport which isnt too far from Texas City in the big scheme of things for a storm Ikes size. Anyone heard any rumors??

Katy is not "Katy" this year. WB will easy handle them.

Dayton couldn't even play Friendswood a close game. Like I said before no team on this list would come within 30 points of beating West Brook. I love West Brooks team and think they are the #1 team in the area right now but if you honestly think NOONE in the area could come within 30 you're very wrong. WB isnt 4 TD's better than every other SETX team.

After 2 weeks of this season I feel even more confident this seasons game will be close to last years outcome. With Nederland running the same offense as last season, I now really wouldnt expect a change from last seasons outcome. Crosby which runs the same spread offense, had a pretty dang good QB and probably faster receivers than the Dogs and the 2nd half of last weeks game looked like a carbon copy of last years Nederland game. A lot of pressure and hits on the QB, Id expect much of the same this year. On offense PNG actually looks like they'll be able to throw the ball a little this year which was a nice thing to see last Sat night.
