I will not and will never complain about a W but it was far from being considered a great game.

isnt this the same coaching staff from last season? I thought you BMT boys liked the current staff at Central.

I respectfully disagree. It may have been a defensive battle but it wasnt a "great" game. It was like watching a circus out there when either team lined up to punt the ball. Ozen would have been better off going for it on every 4th down rather than attempting to punt, and Im being serious. For a 21-19 game that went down to the wire the game lacked any excitement because of how sloppy the play was. Saying all this I still think PNG and Ozen have fine defenses and the kids played their hearts out. PNG's defense was on the field the ENTIRE second half and made just enough plays to hold on. Ozens defense also has some big, fast kids and will keep the Panthers in most games. but this wasnt a "great" game.....far from it.

Ozen & PNG both need to serioulsly work on their long snapping. Not being able to get punts off almost cost both of them the game. It was like a dang circus out there.

the new unis are nice, put the names on the back of those jerseys and they are perfect. The old helmets were better. I liked the old Titans logo on a solid black helmet.

I think Duhon is in sales somewhere in the Dallas area. His dad still lives here locally.

Some are reporting its just a sprain. Sucks for the Dogs if it is a break. I stayed for the 1st half of the Nederland game last night and Sampere was very good. He made that new spread offense click. It will take some adjustment if hes really out for the season.

etbu, SFA85 can give you a better history of BISD but it has 3 high schools in the district but used to have at least 5. When they combined or closed the schools they used existing stadiums for Central & WB, then used LU for Ozen. To answer your stadium question, who knows? BISD had what seemed to be a pretty decent plan in place a few years back to renovate Cardinal Stadium and use it as a home field for all 3 schools but with some chatter of LU wanting to eventually re-startup the football program the idea fell through. It would seem now with only the three HS schools one central location would be nice, but if you ask the coaches & players, expecially @ WB, they probably would prefer to keep their own home fields.

Congrats on the new board. I'm stilll ticked PNG ISD didnt take advantage of the great gift Huntsman gave them and get a top-notch scoreboard at NDN Stadium. Sure the one we got is nice, but it could have been much much more with a little thinking on their part. That green screen is annoying.
