I believe Faircloth stated he wants the HC at Westlake. He obviously wants to be a HC somewhere or he wouldnt have applied for these positions.

based on the limited info we can see on these guys ive liked what Ive read about Brandon Faircloth. If the new coach comes from the current PNG applicant list he may be my favorite.

Na, not at all! They have just met for the heck of it. The Corpus guy will NOT be the right hire for us. Who is "they"? I know for a fact that "the hiring committee" didn't meet with him...and that's about all that matters. so you really think Garretts the guy? If youth is what you want PNG should have looked no further than one of their own. If he somehow lands the LCM gig PNG will find out really fast how they dropped the ball with that one.

Yes, DC at Clear Lake, i brought him up a few post up. I wish they would have seriously considered him because IMO he going to make a fine head coach sooner than later. I wish it would have been for PNG.

I get so tired of this old garbage argument. PNG has the same type "talent" they've always had in the system for eternity yet they've got a winning tradition. Sure the high profile D1 athletes usually dont pour out of Port neches Groves but they've always been plenty good to hang with the more talented TJ, Lincoln, and Ozens out there. Put the right coach in there and get a system going and wins will follow. Do me a favor and look up how many elite D1 athletes Katy HS puts out this season or last.

Sure, the same day the economics dept. brings the income the football program does, no problem. Never understood what makes a football coach worth so much more in education than a teacher........I guess now I do. :-[ Actually if one was to really look at the numbers one would find football does not make that much money in the big picture. you're correct. Some and probably most HS football programs do not make money. If fact many probably lose money, but the PNG football program makes money. Ask any honest person in the know and the'll tell you the same.

strong rumors are circulating that PNGISD wants Stump, its obvious and its not slowing down. The latest info Ive been hearing is the two parties have spoken and if the money is right it could happen. The rumored number is 95 -100,000/per. IF this is not a just a rumor but a fact I have a hard time believing the district would not up the coaches salary 2-3K per year to get their guy. Heck some Indian fans on the streets would come up with that small of a difference if thats all it took. If both parties are interested then make it happen. Again, these are just rumors but it wouldnt hurt for interested parties to contact the superintendent, Dr. Randall, and let her know. Her email is also easily obtainable if anyone wants to let her know how they feel about this situation. Scalp'em Indians.
