1. Sounds like every brutal HF game: I just hope no one gets hurt.
2. Well...  OK, go ahead and bad-talk the Professor!
3.
The little short bald ref has no business owning a whistle.
Don't bad-talk the Professor!
4.
Slam you coming to HJ Tuesday night when Silsbee comes to town?????  If so better get there early!!!!
Wouldn't miss it.  We will be camping out near the gym entrance starting this weekend.  Drop by for s'mores!  J/K.  But we'll be there, early and loudly, come heck ( ;)) or high water.  Looking forward to seeing y'all!
5. I wish the Sutherland/Davis/Lee trio could stay together at HJ forever.  I'm biased, but I believe they've set the standard for small-school high school coaching.  They work beautifully together.  Their successes are so much more than wins and losses...  That said, if they ever break it up, LU would be foolish not to give Clay Davis a shot.  He's a bright, young, energetic, LU alum.  Great communicator, both teaching in practice and on-the-spot during critical time-outs.  Heck, he teaches Communications class!  Relates well to and gets the best out of almost any basketball player.  Would be a strong recruiter, a draw to the LU program by himself.  I could see a return to national prominence for LU with Clay Davis coaching.  This is my humble opinion, and an opinion shared by his players.
6. Great job with the broadcast, Rob.  Did I hear you say Carr is out?  Injured?
7. I hope HJ plays Nederland for a playoff warm-up game-- if it's not Silsbee, of course.
8. Sounds like HF has improved from what I'd seen of them over the last seven years, when their teams never beat us on the scoreboard, but always beat us up pretty well with their dreaded "tackle the man with the ball" defense and odious "throw it up at the bucket and then go tackle the man with the ball" offense.
9. Way to go Hawks!  That 3rd Q was some proper HJ defense.  Sounded like Prudhomme, Persohn, and Gus had great games.  I really didn't expect us to be up 30 late in West Orange.  Nice job on the broadcast, Rob, as always!
10. Great job on the pbp, Rob & AAW.  Sounds like my Hawks succumbed to fatigue in the fourth, what with the turnovers, fouls, and missed free throws.  Let's get 'em at HJ, and in the Regional Finals!
11. Rob & AAW, great job.  Coming in loud & clear now.  Should be a wild 2nd half!
12. Ah, well, this is where I use transcendental meditation to keep my head from exploding.  On the bright side, I'm probably seeing the game better than the refs.
13. hj1, I can only be there in spirit tonight.  See y'all at HJ, come hell or high water!
14. It just says "Ready" whenever I click Play...  sigh...  can y'all update scores?
15. 07 regionals, when Silsbee had us down 17, and we weren't worried.  A tad concerned, maybe...  That was my favorite game, of course, and certainly one of the best.  Every HJ-Silsbee game is great.
16. There will be dunks, but many more threes.  Bring umbrellas.
17. Looks like Grayson's ankle is better.
18. Back when Mary Gagne ran Kelly, KHS produced National Merit Scholars and sent kids to Ivy League schools.  Now they can't even fill out the score book?  Sigh...  More evidence of the decline and fall of western civilization...
19. That was quite a hummm in the Drum, when Donahoe led the Hawks to the State title-- on one good leg.  Toughest kid I've ever seen.  Can I hear an amen?
20. Ryan Donahoe played at Westfield (behind Nic Wise?) his freshman year.  Came to HJ his sophomore year, is how I remember it.
