1. Great kid and I certainly wish him all of the best...tear 'em up, Z
2. IMO, one of the best coaches we had on campus and I hate to see him go, especially for what appears to be somewhat of a lateral move...pretty discouraging, really
3. I had heard that Ozen was winning late in this game, 3-2, but that is unofficial and I never heard a final...little help on this from some of the Ltown fans
4. Man, for some reason, I seem to recall Ozen having a couple fo transfers from somewhere last season???  It's kinda fuzzy to me...can someone help me with who they were??
5. No. I have the Dogs winning this one 4-2...good pitching on both sides with Raines being a bit more difficult to figure out
6. OBP is clearer and less subjective, though...you are either on or you ain't, not much left to interpretation there...over the course of time, things level out and you rarely see a guy who has just reached on error so many times that it makes his OBP look better than it should be...I do agree that many times you see guys hit the ball hard and get nothing to show for it...I always tell them to keep hitting it hard and something good will eventually happen
7. who thinks it won't be close?
8. Good game on both sides...Nederland was not at their best, but LCM had something to do with that...pitching depth for Nederland really showed in this one as the Dogs were able to send 2 quality pitchers to the bump...Dogs do need to clean up the errors, but again timely hitting and not giving in when the Bears went up 3-0 early led to this Nederland victory...this team is full of seniors who know how to compete and they did just that last night...Sanderson and Nevala both pitched well and the offense saw Shaw (3), Barrow (2), and Raines (2) have multiple hits along with big hits from Sanderson and Feltman...Sampere reached base every time up as well, I believe with 3 BB and an HBP...pitching for LCM was solid...2 good teams who will definitely be in the mix the rest of the way
9. the torture subsides significantly when you are pounding the indians
10. I kinda remember that song...didn't really here it too much this past season...that first video looks like the entire crowd that was left after about the 3rd quarter of this past season's Nederland game...it made trafiic getting out of town easy to navigate so we appreciate the png faithful leaving early for us Bulldogs. c'mon, you set yourself up for this abuse, you gotta admit...lol
11. Dogs beat Marshall, 14-1
12. For a fan of a 5A school, BG sure has a huge fascination with the teams from 20-4A...BG, PAM is a 5A school...THEY SHOULD BEAT CENTRAL and doing so is nothing to brag about. BTW, Nederland beat Central by way more than PAM did last year...had to get that in to yank BG's chain
13. Congrats to D...great young man as well and I certainly wish him the best. No that all of that is out of the way, kick some butt your senior year and lead the Dogs to another DC and long playoff run!!
14. Pretty good weekend for the Dogs going 3-1-1 against some pretty good competition...pitching depth has been the most pleasing IMO along with how the Dogs are swinging the bats all the way thru the lineup
15. Congrats, Stamp...best of luck at the next level...proud of this young man
16. Terrible tragedy...prayers for the family and everyone associated with this young man
17. Nederland won 9-8 over Morton Ranch
18. Nederland leading Morton Ranch 4-2 after 4 right now
19. They finished in a tie with Jersey Village 1-1 in the first game...reports I received had both starters hitting 90 on the gun
20.
The MVP should come from the team that won district...If Coach of the Year did, certainly MVP should as well...
not necessarily...certainly didn't play out that way in football. Congrats to all of the kids who made AD
21. Lumberton's visitors side is much improved since they moved the visitors to the old home side last season...it was very nice so, if you haven't been there since that change, you will be pleasantly surprised
22.
That Georgetown team, I tell you.  They did both our teams in real good in a 4 day span by holding them to really low scores.  Boy, that sucks.  Great season, nonetheless, Bulldogs.
Soulja, you got it right...I have to think that both Nederland and Central are wondering "how in the heck did that team beat us?"...nevertheless, they did and are advancing so congrats to them...Nederland (as did Central from what I understand) really let one slip away that they could have easily won...I couldn't help but feel at halftime that the lead should have been closer to 15 rather than the 8 that it was For the Nederland seniors, it is always difficult when a season ends but you guys have helped continue the tradition of Nederland being a very solid basketball program and you guys have much to be proud of...best of luck in your future endeavors
don't you mean "Educational Support Center"?
