1. dang, the guy was a saint just a couple of years ago and people were concerned that he would leave for something bigger and better...
2. if it ends up in a 3 way tie between Ozen, Central, and LCM, the tiebreaker is point differential between the 3...the advantage here woudl go to Ozen since they beat Central by 20 earlier in the season: LCM    -13 Central  -4 Ozen      +15
3. I see Nederland taking this one 35-20...Central seems to have some issues in the kicking game which will lead to field position problems...they do not want to lose that battle to Nederland with that defense...Mitchell is dangerous and he will make some big plays...Central likes to take shots downfield and they may be able to have some success here but that also plays into two of Nederland's strengths which are pressure from the front and the ability to get takeaways from the secondary...Nederland needs a tester before entering the playoffs as the last 3 games have been pretty uneventful...Central will be motivated for sure and I think that is a good thing for the Dogs...the Dogs are also highly motivated to go undefeated in district again and get that undisputed DC. Go Dogs...finish what you started!
4. Central has to beat Nederland this Friday to seal a berth
5. correct that, if Central wins out, beating LCM and Nederland, they would only have 3 losses and therefore be in...so Central controls their own destiny by winning out
6. Somebody correct me if I am wrong here...Central not only needs to win out, but they need to beat LCM by a bunch since they have that (-20) agaiinst Ozen...right now, LCM is plus 5 with their win over Ozen and Central pending...Ozen is done with the 3 way tiebreaker and sits at plus 15. Of course, all of this is a moot point if LCM just wins tonight, but it looks like Central is the least likely to get in.
7. I will second that in a big way...way to go Dogs...keep it up...I can't find much fault in a combined 73-0 over the past two weeks. Get ready for Central and reach that next goal of being back to back undefeated district champs...it's within their reach
8. people, we won 48-0!  It could have easily been more but our starters were pulled (appropriately) in the 3rd and we didn't throw a pass after they left...Nederland didn't scratch the surface of the playbook tonight because THEY DIDN'T NEED TO...it's ended up being an easy and convincing win, therefore I will take it...we came out healthy and got our second straight shutout...I'm happy
9. they are jolly so long as you aren't from Nederland...lol. I know everyone is down over at the Reservation this year...look it is just one of those years...they have a quality coaching staff and from the sounds of this, seems like they are good people, too...png will be back in the mix in years to come
10. I agree that this is one that PNG has a shot at...it will be interesting to see how Ozen reacts after getting beat badly last week
11. He has 9 overall...6 receiving, 2 rushing, and an INT return for a TD
12.

You do realize bronco pride, that Vidor is likely to be playing Dayton in round 1 of the playoffs?  That assumes that Dayton beats SC, which I am sure you believe will happen
yes I do realize that. Let me rephrase my comment. By easily I dont mean vidor would win easily I meant it wouldnt shock me if they beat dayton or sc. I think both ned and vidor will be tough games for 19 4a.
Gotcha
13. You do realize bronco pride, that Vidor is likely to be playing Dayton in round 1 of the playoffs?  That assumes that Dayton beats SC, which I am sure you believe will happen
14. Dogs are still focused and motivated to have back to back undefeated DC seasons...Nederland 42, Lumberton 7
15.
Gonna be a lotta crow to pass around livingston come friday night around 11. Yall better line up cuz i will call each and everyone one of yall out. Vidor by 2 TD's.
that's the thing about twocents...he is real good at dishing it out, but not so good at taking it...I don't think he will have to take it this week though...vidor is the stronger team here
16. lol....not on September 28th
17. from my perspective, we haven't done anything yet except clinch a playoff spot...still work to do for the Dogs
18. Somebody tell bronx rox where the caps lock button is, please!  button on the far left, three rows up
19. huge game...winner has BIG inside track to playoffs
20.

Nederland had the usual suspects play well last night but I wanted to throw out a couple more name of guys that played well...Sage Seay and Brandon Dial...these two young guys played some real good football last night
Dial is doing great, especially because he was not even the original starter.
I wanted to give props to the guys that came in the 4th quarter.  White at QB,  Contreas, Barton, Barefield etc sounded like they did well last night.
Agree that they looked good as well which is encouraging...we will need all hands on deck in order to be successful in the playoffs
21. It is what it is which is why I think the polls are fairly meaningless

Angleton 21 George Ranch 24. Geroge Ranch 21 Kingwood Park 24. Angleton scored 39 on Nederland, same Angleton who could only manage 21 on George Ranch which is one of the non-district victims of those sorry Kingwood Park Panthers.
I think the point was that this type of math is irrelevant, and it is Nederland 21-7 over Crosby.  Crosby 35-17 over BH.  Dayton barely beat BH 13-6. None of that means a thing.  Dayton better play better than they did last night or Nederland will run all over them.  Nederland will have their hands full in the 1st round, but to say they have no chance is silly.
Nederland 21 Crosby 7 - Dayton 45 Crosby 21 you do the math if you wana look at it that way
23. first of all, if Dayton is worrying about Nederland in the first round, they must be assuming they will lose to SC and therefore be the 2 seed...Nederland is in the drivers seat for the DC and thus the 1 seed although this is not settled
24. Barrow teed up that Ozen receiver on the short pass and had a big block on Shaw's fourth down reception...Wood and Stampley were laying licks all night too...overall, just good, physical football
25. Nederland had the usual suspects play well last night but I wanted to throw out a couple more name of guys that played well...Sage Seay and Brandon Dial...these two young guys played some real good football last night
