he's a junior this year, heck I don't know, I think he cut 5 10th's off is 40 time, don't care about last year.  Maybe cuz he played same positions as Salenga and Sonnier?  I'm talking about this year, just watch.
So your saying he went from 5.0 speed to 4.5?  ::)
He went from low 4.6 to low to mid 4.4.
So you're telling me this kid has better speed than Anquan Boldin, A.J. Green, Larry Fitzgerald, Donald Driver, Brad Smith, Brandon Marshall, Dwayne Bowe and many other NFL wide receivers? Give me a break. Do people realize how fast 4.4 speed is? Give me a break with all these stopwatch times of 4.4.
...and give me a break on guys who come on here and assume that anyone is saying that any kid in this area is as fast as an NFL guy..it should be pretty easy to understand that the timing criteria are different (and irrelevant for that matter)...you are simply putting words into peoples mouths...
2. most schools around here don't have the benefit of laser times so take the times for what they are worth...if you hand time NFL guys, they are probably in the 4.1 range...I was simply clarifying what the improvement was from one year to the next under the same circumstances since it came up earlier...nothing more, nothing less...geez, some people make a big deal out of the simplest things!

4. Sezar has outstanding straight line speed...he is as fast as anyone in the area
5. Honestly, that choice by those kids had much more to do with them wanting to play baseball rather than anything else...football and basketball really do not interfere with each other but baseball and basketball tend to overlap. ...and wow, I have really tried to stay out of this thread, but now I just can't seem to after 17 pages... IMO, this whole thread is pretty much useless and speculation...anyone who thinks that Neumann is out to sabotage any of the other programs is just plain wrong, IMO...seems to me that folks are making assumptions here without being equipped with all of the facts...Nederland is fortunate to have outstanding coaches in most all of their major sports and this includes Neumann and English...both have outstanding track records that speak for themselves...personally, I would be proud to have my kids play for either of them...before anyone here says, "don't be so sure", for the record, my son has played for both and has the utmost respect for both...at the end of the day, both are outstanding coaches and more importantly, teachers of their respective games...more importantly, both are excellent teachers when it comes to teaching young boys how to become young men, and that is what is most important at the end of the day. As for me, I am a Bulldog fan and that goes for ALL sports...threads like this are counter productive to the athletic program as a whole, especially when I am pretty certain that all of the facts are not known and people make assumptions. Go Dogs!!
6. pretty much dispicable...it's bad enough that he got drunk and had an altercation serious enough to result in his arrest, but to do so after missing a majority of the major events taking place in the camp is inexcusable...he was counted on to be a significant part of this event and he know shows most of it but miraculously recovers in time to tie one on??? sad!
7. So how does hiring this new coach help football and football only...sorry, I just don't see that at all...it appears that alot of folks are making assumptions without knowing all of the facts...Nederland athletics have been very successful OVERALL, some degree of credit for this has to go to the AD, right?
8. If usual form holds, I would assume 430 on the Thursday before the varsity game...should be in Nederland.
9. ...in Galveston
10. Just got word, the 14s won in extra innings, 5-4...nice job!
11. 16S just beat Eagle Pass in their opener, 10-1
12. very nice run, guys...a season to be proud of for sure!
13. Awesome!  Congrats, Brett and congrats, Jeff and Nikki!  Brett is a great kid with a great work ethic so this is well deserved.
14. Sanderson 3/3 Barrow 2/4 Shaw 2/4 Raines, Humphries, and Sciarella all pitched well for MC...lefty for Wharton did an effective job of settling down  after a rough first and kept MC hitters off balance for the most part...Sampere comes thru with game winner in bottom of 8th to win it
15.
1.Central 2.PN-G 3.Livingston 4.Ozen 5.Nederland. 6.Vidor 7.Lumberton 8.LC-M
Not much faith in the Dogs there, bulldogbasketball??
16. Nobody is perfect and  we all make mistakes, however, Dr. Simmons has done far more good for Lamar than  bad so I will trust him and his team to continue their leadership of Lamar...Devil's Advocate question here, is moving to FBS now in Lamar's best interests?  not saying it is or isn't, but it ain't as easy of a question to answer as some  think
17. Not sure of the score, but I do know that the Athletics beat the Braves and the Thursday nightcap saw the Dodgers defeat the Yankees, 5-2...Watkins, Norris, and Duplant pitched for the Dodgers while Schlett, Cardenas, and Vizena threw for the Yankees...Shaw was 2/3 for Dodgers with 2runs and an rbi
18. He would fit right in with the CARE committee then....
19. Dang Bru.....couldn't have said it better myself....the point smitty doesn't get is that taxpayer money is already being wasted on maintenance of these antiques...and as for the CARE committee, they make me sick, really....this is a group of folks who claimed that they agreed that NISD had major problems with these buildings, yet once they killed the bond, they offer not one of their so called alternate solutions to the issue....their true objective was reached and that was to kill the bond and not increase their taxes....so you tell me, how much do they really care about anything other than their personal objectives. For the record, much like Bru, I am a staunch conservative...this has nothing to do with tax and spend...it has everything to do with discontinuing waste on maintenance and investing in the future of our community and preserving the values of properties that a already exist in Nederland.
20. Well dang....what can we talk about on the football board now....it's gonna get boring...lol...Congrats to Coach T....very deserving
21. Nederland's big inning was the 4th when they hung up a 4 spot to make it 5 zip
22. Agreed...real nice effort by Sanderson on the hill and the hitting was excellent with 14 hits...not sure who all did, but several Dogs had multiple hits in this one...the catch by Wood in the first was amazing.
23.
The plate umpire didn't know his behind from a hole in the ground he obviously wasn't watching much of the game being that he had to ask for help 4 or 5 times.  Nederland took advantage of a hitting streak but PNG had some bad calls.  Had someone in purple and white chewed out the umpire all the way to the dugout after 2 warnings were given like #9 from Nederland....they would have been tossed!
Glad your not bitter or making excuses .....great job Dogs
24. So you could add more crap???
25. geez, really...the way I look at it, Nederland won the game, everyone got a chance to play some significant time and it's over...no big deal. The other outcome would have been this...leave all of the starters in, win 12 or 13 to zip with nobody else playing and getting some experience and your record is still the same...I agree with the assessment that the game has no playoff implications or anything like that.
