Split Crew- 2 umps from 22-5a were at 1st & 3rd & 2 from 21-5a were at home & 2nd.

the play in cf was a play not made by a player off a hit ball, not a call by an umpire 90 foot away at home plate,whose view was blocked on a play that the 3rd base ump was 10 foot away & made no obstruction call. BH might have been the best team in that game but no one will know for sure because an umpire gave the 3rd run.

watching the replay of the game & the play in question,there is clearly no fake tag or obstruction by ned 3rd baseman in front of 3rd base bag. 3rd baseman is a foot away from inside corner of base lined up to take a throw from second giving runner clear path to base, his back almost facing home plate with both hands on knees.maybe home plate ump was in bad position or blocked from seeing the play correctly, Even if this call was made giving Nederland a run it would be bs for bh.

nothing was done to make runner slow down or slide, as hard as he was going to get to 3rd im sure he was not paying attention to the fielder. im sure the home plate umpire has a different fake tag rule he knows & can show that justifies his call. Both teams played hard & bh team is very good & well coached not taking anything away from either team.

bh runner was in a pick off play at 2nd. nederland catcher threw behind runner at 2nd after a pitch. Bh runner couldnt get back to 2nd, so took off for 3rd, the ball popped out of nederland 2nd basemans glove as he attempted to catch throw & make throw to 3rd for tag out, bh runner was full speed trying to get to 3rd & sliding into 3rd not aware the ball was dropped & no throw, there was never any action by ned 3rd baseman to make runner slow down or slide or obstruct runner from base or going home. But hey 9 times out 0f 10 if an umpire is left to make a judgment or interpretation call on a play some one is getting hosed

Any idea if there is an applicant list for the B.C. AD job?

Coach Carter at png has the 2017 5A state championship ring,takes png to playoffs every year, has over 500 wins & a couple other state titles i believe?I'm not exactly caught up on bc's hardware, but Mr.Carter might be at least tied with the bc coach as best in the area?

Hiltz-3-6,2 walks,2sb, Simon-2-7,1 walk,2 doubles,5rbi, Ortiz-3-5,1 walk, Holton-2-6,hr,2b Creduer complete game 3 hitter,6 strike outs Kemp 1 hitter,5 strike outs in 4 innings Mares got game 2 save with 2 strike outs

This play is not a hard play to umpire,seen it 100's of times called right on every level on plays far closer than this.Why make excuses for 3 umpires who clearly were wrong. You watch for the tag first then look for runner touching base. The 2 umps that said runner scored before tag clearly were guessing,because plate was 15 feet away minimum from runner at point of tag out.

Braydon Creduer,Conner Kemp, Alan Underwood & Jacob Mares have been very strong pitching this year. Landon Hiltz(.462) Trenton Simon(.377) Alex Ortiz(.352) Angel Castillo(.360) have been solid hitting all year. Brian Davila has come thru with clutch hits in district & playoffs. Adam Roccaforte is back swinging well after missing a few games due to injury. Kyler Bertrand has a .368 avg./.455 ob% pinch hitting/DH Case Babino is one of the best catchers in the state anchors a strong defensive unit with speed,good arms(Castillo-LF, Davila-CF, Ortiz-RF) in the outfield,solid defense at the corners with strong arms(Underwood-3rd,Simon-1st,Butler-3rd) & a smooth & quick middle infield (Hiltz-SS,Roccaforte-2nd)
