Huffman After two very strong seasons, Huffman has a lot of holes to fill with just three starters back on each side of the ball. New head coach Joey Buchta has WR/CB Tyler Wilkins (39-603, 10 TDs receiving; 32 tackles, 8 INTs) coming back & is a force on both sides of the ball, also was an all-state selection on defense. The Falcons will have one of the best kickers in 4A with the return of Jonathan Klepetko, who could be a weapon in close games. The big question mark for Huffman will be settling on a QB, where Tyson Woodland and Justin Evans will compete for the job. 2021 Results- 8-3 Bi-District finalist / 3-2 District Record Lettermen R/L- 17/27 Starters Returning- Offense- 3 Defense- 3 Impact Players WR/CB- Tyler Wilkins- 6-0, 175, 4.5-40yd. speed RB/LB- Dylan McMullen- 5-11, 190, 4.6-40yd. speed K/P- Jonathan Klepetko- 6-0, 175, 4.6-40yd. speed TE/DL Will Swartz- 6-5, 225, 4.6-40yd. speed OL/DL Hayden Hovan- 6-0, 255 Key Juniors\Sophmores JR.-OL Noah Silman- 6-7, 235 JR- RB/LB Jesse Holcomb- 5-10, 185, 4.6-40yd speed SO- WR/DB Kurtis Felder- 6-3, 180, 4.6-40yd speed

Little Cypress-Mauriceville The Bears were one of the state’s surprise stories in 2022, advancing to the regional finals under first-year head coach Eric Peevey. The question now is what will the Bears do for an encore? RB/CB Morris (1,811 yards, 22 TDs rushing; 36-434, 2 TDs receiving; 38 tackles, 6 INTs) is one of the top players in Southeast Texas and is the catalyst for the Bears. DE Washington (64 tackles, 21 TFL, 9 sacks) is a monster on the defensive line who holds multiple FBS offers, while DE Riley (64 tackles, 8 TFL, 4 sacks) is expecting a breakout season on the other side. 2021 Results- Overall- 11-3, Regional Finalist / 4-1 District Record Lettermen-R/L- 15/25 Starters Returning- Offense- 5 Defense- 5 Impact Players RB/CB- Da’Marion Morris 5-10, 180, 4.5- 40yd speed DE- Amier Washington 6-3, 265, 4.6- 40yd speed QB- Dean Reynolds 6-1, 205, 4.7- 40yd speed DE Jarvis Riley 6-3, 220, 4.7- 40yd speed OL- Jan Nazario 6-0, 230, 4.9- 40yd speed OL- Brady Wright 6-4, 290 RB/LB- Luke McDow 5-11, 215, 4.7- 40yd speed QB/LB- William Payne 6-1, 185, 4.8- 40yd speed Top prospects OL-Carson Phelps (6-3, 265),TE/DL-Jordan Pollock, WR/DB-Jacob Pollock, DL-Gianni Huffman, WR/CB- Darius Roberts
