I graduated from PNG in 1966, lived in Bridge City for over 30 years, and currently live in Magnolia, Texas. I will follow the Indians, Cardinals, and the Magnolia West Mustangs. I, however, will continue to follow all the golden triangle teams on the internet.

Bridge City could use a whole new stadium. One where the home side did not face the west.

WOS SCORES ON 35 YARD RUN. PAT no good. 3:08 left in half. Score 19-0 WOS. Oops, I did not mean to post this here.

6:21 left in the first half. WOS turns ball over on downs at 33 BC yard line. BC thrws pass and it is tiped> WOS intercepted pass and scores a TD. PAT no good. 13-0 WOS.

Playing in Vidor for their homecomming, one would think Vidor would have the edge in the numbers. However, I think the importance of the game may influence the number of fans that show up. if one team needs the victory to stay in playoff contention then that team may have more fans show up.

There were so many probably no one on this site could name all the good running backs. The ones that come to my mind are: Elliot Romero (PNG) early 60's, Matt Peeples (Bridge City) year ?, Steve Wooster (Bridge City) mid 60's, Mike Simpson (PNG) 60's , Jeff Brgoron (PNG) 70's  Bryan Bock (Bridge City) 90's, Kyle Haynes (TJ) year ?. And all those that other posters mentioned.

Well, the concensses seems to be with Newton. Truth is that no one really knows. Newton is real young this year starting a lot of sophomores, I was told, and BC was hit hard by graduation. I say the game is a toss up.There are a lot of new spots to fill on BC's team. I think both teams will be much improved and ready for district competion by the time district starts. I do not know how tough Newton's district will be so I don't have any idea if they will win their district. I think EC is in their district and I think they will be real good this year. BC will have a tough time with WOS and Silsbee. And Orangefield will be very competive. Both Craig Stump and W. T. Johnson are good coaches so I'd say that the teams are pretty even in that department.

I don't see Chase Bertrand of PNG or Matt Menard of BC. WTH?

IF graduation is Friday and the game is Saturday, that means no project graduation party. Does anyone know when Robinson's graduation is?
