  1. I like Sampson's attitude. He's looked OK in limited action. Looking forward to his start on Thursday. If he finishes the spring strong I'd give him the nod for the 5th spot. I agree that Nieve has more upside than Moehler. Either or both of those guys may see action as long relief and/or options if Sampson falters. We are in trouble for a closer if they try and go with Lidge...
  2. Westbrook by 2. Go Bruins!
  3. Tough way to lose one. Keep on pluggin' away Warriors! Congrats to Anahuac on the victory.
  4. wow. Best wishes to Bunner on the diagnosis and recovery.
  5. Move over while the rats jump ship! It's ok Sammy Sosa will save them.
  6. Tragic. Prayers sent for the families and the community.
  7. I'll stick with the Brook. They've got somethin' to prove. Go Bruins!
  8. Throw out the record books, it's Indians vs the Dogs! PN-G takes this one.
  9. Nederland by 1. Vidor will give them all they can handle in this one.
  10. Central has me taking a closer look after what they did to Nederland. LCM fought PN-G hard. Gotta believe LCM is not wanting to start district play 0-2 they will come ready. LCM by 2.
  11. Thanks for the info, and the updates.
  12. Coop, who threw for PN-G tonight?
  13. Sounds like a great game. Come on Indians!
  14. I didn't bet. OK, I bet, but I didn't bet on baseball. OK I bet on baseball, but I didn't bet on my team. OK, I bet on my team, but not all the time. OK, I bet on my team every day. Wonder what's the next story. I was a Rose fan, believed he should not have been banned for a long time, as his story has changed, and his credibility has deteriorated, so has my support. If Pete loves baseball as much as he says (which I believe) he should shut up and go home, let it die. Just my opinion.
  15. Hopefully Burke is showing the first stages of awakening this spring. Berkman will be Berkman, Biggio has 70 left in him, Lee looks to be a solid addition. If Lane/Scott can contribute in RF and Ensberg returns to his old form at 3rd it could be a very interesting year. Go Astros!!
  16. My inclination would be to support a metal bat ban. That being said, it's scary to think that sports precedent is being set by the NY City Council...
  17. Most impressive. Congratulations to both Tim and Johnny. And a big pat on the back to you as well!
  18. Congrats Warriors. Well done.
