1.
Um thank you for making my point BH15. Lewisville won 5A titles in 1993 and 1996 which was 15 years ago. And they are the only one to do so since 1990 in either 4A or 5A. So I was correct it has been almost 20 years! I hate to cloud your guys judgement with facts! And go back and look at who was referenced as stupid! Quote from: mytwocents on Today at 11:30:41 AM That saying "you gotta pass in the playoffs" is about as stupid as the dance your lil indian does. Do you not know anything man? I say for like the fourth time this week, Liberty Hill who runs the same offense that Livingston and Vidor does won not only one state championship but two in a row while running a slot t offense. And guess what. They didn't pass much either.
Those Lewisville Farmer teams also had skill postion players that went on to play at D1 level. Chad Nelson was only 5'10 but went on to play for Coach Hatifield at RIce. He run that offense like a coach on the field. They also had two studs on defense and played very well as a team.
 2.
I believe that LP has just as good a chance as of beating PAM as any in the State. Sure, PAM has undeniable talent in the skilled positions. But if you honestly take a good look at their o-line, they have some techinical defficiencies that could plague them in this matchup. PAM's Strength - D1 Skilled Position players PAM's Weakness - Lack of Discipline on the OLine LP's Strength - Defensive Front 7 (very mobile, always moving) LP's Weakness - Stalling on offense Should be a good game. The team with the least amount of turnovers will win this game.
Don't have a exact number but the OL has been a Stregth I haven't seen no more then a hand full of sacks at the most. I would say one we need to watch that goes back to a scrimmage against PNG is WR drops. We have had a few of these at times. Don't know about this year but LP normally has real good size in there back in on D. Sometimes it makes it hard to found the WR.Always ver sound at tackling. They also mix up the D calls real well. They don't really allow you to get in a play calling rhythm.
 3. I can't see Brook letting this happen. They will be preapred it's either win or go home and I say they win 42-28. C'View just doesn't have the depth to overcame the numbers form WB and pull it off.
 4.
I will say that Wilson at Kelly may or may not be the best linebacker around .  I am not a football specialist.  I am a futbol specialist.  I do however know that Wilson is probably the biggest reason Kelly is going to be district champions and going to the playoffs.  He has been a outstanding leader for the kelly team and kept them focused during games with his play and with his sideline manner.  Always walking and reminding them to keep working and agreeing to play or do however much of him is asked.  I would say that he is a HUGE REASON we have done so well.  With that said,  if he is or if he is not the best in the area.  He is the best at Kelly and they are going to the playoffs.
I agree with that. GO Kelly win state
 5.
I think that LaPorte will be playing into Memorials strength.  Memorial will be ready to stop the running game.  LaPorte will be overwelmed by Memorial's offense and it will show late in the game.  Memorial wins 28-17.
I second this even though we had some injury issues after the WB game
 6. No doubt he has talent but Purp Nelson is working on his second 1000 yard season. I mean there a way to get the Kelly kids props but don't take a stab at NDN nations while doing it
 7. Let's give to the Bmt Kelly homer in the building. Sry sir we do respect the kids as athletes and students but as the best in the area NOT !!!! Me and a couple of buddies just finsh watching Kelly play that almighty private school schedule. Lets just say I choose to vote on what I see and when I look at most of the teams Kelly plays it looks like my home videos of the SE Texas Jr League. Not dogging Schrapps and his insurmountable evidence but against that competions they can add a 12 th player and it not help.
 8. Wow !!! Hot debt here. I think that these are people voting on who they have seen play. You can only post on who you've seen. There is a solid group of LB at PAM all I will say is they will hit you. No one I say no one has ran on them to this point. That will be tested against LaPorte this week.
 9. Great here both ways.BigOleCountry had a valid point and he asked it in a respectful matter. I did some catching up on the Cubs in that post. I learned about them while at Blinn JC. I see that they are very confident this year. I just hope that they back it up with a deep playoff run this year.
 10.
we need to get them out of their element so we meed to jump om them
No that means they will pass the ball. LOL !!! After watching the past 2 weeks that's not what I want to see again.
 11. Yes, I heard about the Fisher kid. He's good.
 12. Ok, so you have a problem with prayer before a game?
 13.

To the persons comment a few pages earlier about meth labs in the Golden Triangle.  That is not true---most of our meth is imported from Hardin and Jasper counties.
8)
LOL I stand corrected
 14. I'm not going back on my word we will win this game. I say that the secondary and coaches will make the adjustments need to get another hard fought 21-5A won over LaPorte. Those of you following the Titans keep positive. It was foolish to think that the D would go through and dominate at the rate we had in non district. The 4-4 we ran the first 6 weeks before offense adapted to us was killing teams. That being said look for mulitple sets out the D this week. Understand that in the past simple run plays has killed the Titians D It was crazy watching LaPorte and Houston Memorial just hammer the ball down the D on basic run plays. So far this year that has not happen. Look for our 4-4 D to carry us over the top this week as we control the LaPorte run game.
 15. As stated on Channel 6 these thugs also robbed Port Arthur people too. They didn't care who it was it was a random act.
 16.
y'all are talking bout the violence at PAM, Ozen, central, gal...whats the common denominator? just saying......the truth is the truth
No what is it? I understand that you are mad about what happen to all the WB students last night but I remember going to WBrook games with my lettermen jack on only to be chased up Dowlan and into a corner store where we had to call the police to make it up out of there. Yes the battle was about 4 of us to 20 of them. Needless to say more kids wanted to act hard cause the numbers where in there fav. So to say thugs and idiots just live in PA is once again narrow minded and stupid. Begining in 1998 and ending in 2002 for 4 years straight there was a suicide death at Kelly High School. So there is bad company any where you go in any race and creed.
 17.
I'm not disagreeing with you, all the receivers everyone has mentioned is prob a darn good receiver, I have seen mem wide out seals ? Is that his name. He is one heck of an athlete no doubt , can take a slant to the house in a blink of the eye! But when I think receiver I'm talking about making plays out of nothing when the ball shouldnt have been caught, one handed snags, being double covered and still finding the endzone type, I wasn't just saying nelson because he is an indian, he truly is gifted. He isn't the biggest, nor is he the fastest, but he will make you respect him in some form or fashion! That's all, and that is just my opinion not meant to find an arguement.
Good thought Seales is seeing his double teams now and still manging to put up numbers. He also is very good at the highlight reel catches.( Alice Central Ozen) He is a quick hatch and slant threat to go to the house. His college major will be deep threat catch maker. LOL No knock on Nelson he is a hell of  player that is going for back to back 1000 yard season. For this year give me that horse Seales he makes the PAM pass game go.
 18. First of all we are grown in this forum must of us that is. I know that was a senseless act, but if we just turn the tv on, and look we will see senseless acts daily in the triangle, state US , and the world. It's just the world we live in now. Yes, we wish that we could go back to the days of the 80's and 90's when  parents raised kids. That is not the case now kids are raising themseleves now. These streets of PA are about as ruthless as all the meth labs that keep popping up in the  Golden Trianlge. In the same sense you are narrow minded just to think that these acts happen only in PA then you as a adult and parent is foolish. I've been to games all through out the area and security needs to be in force more and more at these games all over. Please accept my apologize for that coward and random act of violance @badsanta I've been to Silsbee games and at the Hill going up to the stadium 5 kids push and attack 2 Jasper fan in the grass close by the trees. Forget what year but Jeremy Johnson was a Jr. this year. ( After Hurricane Ike)) Of course there where zero police cause they where doing traffic control. I say this to say don't judge us as a whole because a slew of cowards looked at last night as a way to take others hard working possession.

Green is great QB as well, Singleton isnt the whole team but with him at QB we sure won alot of games. Any quarterback that can carry his team on the road in 4th quarter has my respect. I know NFL and High School is totally different but, Ask tony romo how hard it is to carry a team in the 4th quarter? Takes a special player to do so
Don't forget the guys up front...with out them, I don't care how good u think he is.... ;)
I think that can be said about any QB on the list. LOL

OU on the other hand has 1Sr / 2JR / 1Soph/1FR

He should of saw the writing on the wall last week in that whopping OU baby. Texas O is trash
OU is a Texas made team! So when OU loses a game, and they will, you can call them Texas trash as well!
Sherman is a lost cause at A&M That's another subject. Not a OU fan either but I will say that they are at this time easily the better team. It hasn't been close the past couple of years. The main reason I said OU is why go share a backfield with someone when you can have your own in Norman. That being said it's the kid choice and I look forward to watching him play for the longhorns. As far as numbers year in and year out thanks to the NCAA there are more FR and Soph on the team. This is because upper classman that aren't playing transfer out of the program or just give up on playing football period. Not here to bash Mack Brown he does have a good record but you fire the coaches in a system that had guided you to the BCS title game in 2009-2010. This is the same system that Colt McCoy and VY ran with no problem.A year later I must ask was it the coaches or the players. Garrett Gilbert really worked out well this year. Didn't he ? The saying goes that head coaches fire asst to save there job. As for as watching the Oklahoma St game no I didn't didn't watch but I saw where Brown had his best game with more to come. I do think that Ok State suffers a couple of losses this year. They want breathe on the title game even if they do beat OU.
my point is that they have more FRESHMEN alone than JR/SR combined and play more or about as much freshmen than probably anyone in the country. Compare Mack Brown to A&M's coach who has right at or SLIGHTLY above a .500 win pct. there. But just out of curiosity, who would be the COUPLE losses if ok st beats ou??? lol.
